Hoppin' Into Spring with Lucy Bird

Hey Stampers... sorry I've been MIA again.  I thought we'd all get a break after CHA, but boy was I wrong!  Not complaining... being busy is good,  I just miss having some stamp time.  :)

All my cards these days are simple and easy.  It's all I have time for.  And, yes, I'm still in love with the new Lucy Bird paper from Imaginisce.  LOVE IT!  I have scraps everywhere and I'm determined to use them all, so you've been warned.  This is another sample from the set called Hoppin' Into Spring, from our CHA release.  I'm still waiting on getting some stamp sets, but I'll stamp with another set soon.  I'm just so excited for Spring to come, and it's been beautiful here on the OR coast the last few days.

I added some Appletini Sparkly Fluff to the grass in the basket and the carrot tops to add a bit of sparkle and touchablitity.  His cute little belly is covered with Sugar Sparkly Fluff too!

The shape the main image is on is a Nestablility die from Spellbinders... label eight I think.  The brads are from Bazzill along with the cardstock.  It's Navajo and Princess.  The white cardstock is Neenah.  I used a border punch from EK Success.  LOVE those punches... did I tell you I'm on a mission to collect them all?

Hope you have a terrific day!  I'll see you tomorrow for our new OCLDT sketch.  Thanks for stopping by!

No Bunny Like You

Hey Stampers!  Today, I'm sharing a quick card with the set called Hoppin' Into Spring.  LOVE that cute bunny butt teetering from the top of the can.  He's all Sparkly Fluffed too... so you just have to touch him!  The peas are covered with Clear Glaze with my Sakura Pen.. so they just pop off the page.
I also added some Appletini Sparkly Fluff highlights to those carrot tops.  The designer paper is from the lovely Lucy Bird line by Imaginisce, and the cardstock is from Bazzill, along with those jewels.  That die is from Spellbinders called Labels Eight.  Border punch is EK Success.

I'm off to Florence today to meet up with Marianne.  I'm half way done with all the treat bags for Averie's Valentine party... I'll show you those soon.  Tomorrow night I tackle her treats to hand out.  Keeping it simple this year!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend, thanks for stopping by!

Tres Chic DePorc Birthday

I've got another Tres Chic DePorc sample to share with you today... sorry it's not another new set, but this bug I caught is hanging in with me.    I'm sure tomorrow will be better.  I NEED to feel better because I've got a busy week ahead.  Wednesday, I'm driving to Florence to meet up with Marianne... I can't wait to see what she's drawn up for us!  Friday is Averie's Valentine party and guess who volunteered me to make the class treat bags?  I just love that girl! Haven't decided on Valentines to make yet, but I know which stamp set I'm using.

Have you tried to Sparkly Fluff brads?  If you look closely in the photo (you can click on it for a larger view), not only is the bottom of the lounge couch sparkly Fluffed (by using Scor-tape), but also the brads.  Just add some Glossy Accents and dip those brads!  I'm IN LOVE with the background stamp in this set.. just add some ink and you've got perfect leopard skin in any color.

I want to wish my friend Jenn Balcer a wonderful birthday today!  Hope it's THE best girlfriend!

Have a great day, thanks for stopping by!

Hippity Hoppity....

I wanted to share something from another new set this weekend, but I've been really sick and didn't have time to get anything else stamped.  So, I'm going to show you two more samples from the set called Hippity Hoppity. Both of these cards are CASE'd from the SOTM boards my sweet friend, and DT coordinator Kendra Wietstock made for our CHA release.  I used different designer paper and ribbon and added Glossy Accents to the frog's eyes.

I am in love with the new paper from the Lucy Bird line by Imaginisce. It's SO yummy and so Springy!  Both the bunny and frog have Cotton Candy Sparkly Fluff on their ears.  I used Appletini Sparkly Fluff on the grass and the carrot top.  The brads and jewel are from Bazzill, along with the wonderful cardstock.

I hope you have a great weekend.  Thanks for all the nice comments about our CHA release.  Stamps are arriving at your favorite stores this week.  I hope you share with us what you make with them!

PS... it's not too late to get in on the awesome Sunshine Cheer CHA Bundle from eP, but supplies are low, so hurry!

Spring Sketches/Fancy Fringe

Hello everyone!  What a week!  Today, I'm showing you a sneak peek from two new OCL stamp sets.  Spring Sketches and Fancy Fringe are both new and will be released next week to retailers everywhere!  Fancy Fringe has borders and fringe to match all our sets!  It's a great addition to your stamp collection.  I used the flower border and the dots from Fancy Fringe and the sentiment and big flower both belong in the Spring Sketches set.  If you want to head over to The Lounge, you can see more sneak peeks!

The center of the flower and the dots under the sentiment are covered with Glossy Accents so they are raised and shiny.  The center of the flower is covered with Cosmo Crystal Crafty Sparkles, and I used a clear atyou Spica pen for the centers of the little border flowers.  Lots of bling to brighten someone's day.  The stitching is faux... done with my paper piercer, piercing mat,  and a white gel pen.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'll have more sneak peeks through the weekend! Are you watching the Superbowl or are you stamping?  I WANT TO KNOW!!  LOL.

Tres Chic DePorc

Oh yah...isn't she sassy? Don't you love her?  I love her... she makes me smile!  She's drinking an Appletini (which is actually our Crafty Sparkles).  Chillin' with her dog.... she can't be much cooler!  That animal print is included as a background stamp in the set, so you can imagine all the possibilities for creativity with this set.  I used Bazzill Jewels across the top and on the pillows, and score tape along the lounge chair with Black Eyeliner Sparkly Fluff sprinkled on top.  That little pom pom trim is also from Bazzill.  This card is all blinged out baby!
Have you been over to The Lounge this week to check out all the new stamp sets?    If not, head over and check them out!  Your favorite store will have them soon!  We started shipping this week and expect to have them all out by the 12th.
Thanks for stopping by!  I'd love for you to share your favorite set so far. :)

Hoppin' Into Spring

We are showing sneak peeks all week long from our CHA release.  I'm so ready to be hoppin' into Spring.... what about you?  This set is called just that, Hoppin' Into Spring.  It's illustrated by Marianne Walker and it's WAY cute! The set also includes some nice sentiments for the gardeners in your life.  If you want to see the entire set, you have to head over to The Lounge.

I used my favorite new designer paper from Imaginisce Lucy Bird Collection.  I used cardstock from Bazzill; Navajo, Watermelon Sensation and Princess.. the white is Neenah.  I added Appletini Sparkly Fluff to the basket so it really looks and sparkles like Easter grass.  I used Label One Nesties and Ribbon Tag Trio Two from Spellbinders.  Those little jewels are from Bazzill.

Thanks for the sweet comments!  I can't wait to see what you make with these new sets!   See you soon!

E-i E-i Hello!

Ready for another sneak peek?  Did you check out The Lounge to see some of the new sets?  Stop by again today to see even more!  Do you have a favorite so far?

This cute cow is from a set illustrated by Marianne Walker... it's called E-i E-i Hello.  The two cows in the set are just adorable.  We also have a sentiment set called Barnyard Banter.  All the sentiments match this set and one illustrated by Debbie Corbari called The Barnyard.

This is an easel card... have you  tried one yet?  There is a super tutorial over at SCS by my friend Beate.  The scallop border holds the front up so you can display your card.  They are super fun and very easy to make.

For more sneak peeks, stop by The Lounge!  Thanks for visiting today!
