Au Chocolat Flower

I've seen some amazing flowers done with Stampin'Up!'s oval punches, so I just had to try one. I used both the Small Oval Punch and the Large Oval Punch and layered them for the base petals. The Center of the flower is the large punch.

I wasn't going to get this new paper from the Spring Mini, but my friend Jenn said I HAD to get it. I listen to Jenn... she knows all. I'm so glad that I ordered it... it's GORGEOUS!
Au Chocolate Designer Series Double Sided Paper... it's a must have. LOVE It! I made some clippies with this paper too! (I'm sure it will be a favorite) SNORT.

If you look down on the right side, you'll see a little pointy tabby thing. This is my new use for the
Round Tab Punch, available in the Spring Mini. You can see a tutorial here. Some of the polka dots in the paper were showing on the side and I didn't care for it, so I added some vintage brads there. Another one of my favorite things... those Vintage Brads. The second layer of petals are popped up with dimensionals along with the flower center. Another must have... those wonderful dimensionals. I can never have too many packages scattered on my desk. Smile stamp is from the Stampin'Up! set Simple Sayings II. I just inked up the smile portion. Natural Ivory card stock is stamped with the Linen Background stamp, then sponged on the sides with chocolate chip classic ink. Easy but nice card. Get those punches out girls! :)

Thanks for visiting today! Hope you all have a great day! Smile baby! :)
