Hanna Blog Candy!!!

Whooo Hoooo!! Hanna Stamps is coming out with a sentiment set! It's HUGE (set of 28) and it's all new!! Want to see a sneak peek of "Things Hanna Would Say"? Of course you do! Trust me, you'll want this set to go with your Hanna sets, and for sure for with the new sets to come!!

We are celebrating the grand opening of the official Hanna Stamps site on Friday!! You can get this set FOR FREE!! Just leave me a comment about one thing that you are grateful for, or your favorite Thanksgiving dish/dessert/food. I will draw one name on Sunday evening and Kristi at Hanna Stamps will send you your new set! How cool is that? Check out the other design team members and their blogs for additional chances to win!!

I'm thankful for so much this year. I try and keep reminding myself of those things as I struggle with my back and the aggravation of not being able to do all that I want to do. Most of all, I'm thankful for my family. I feel SO thankful that my grandmother has recovered from surgery and is healthy. I'm thankful my parents finally got to retire and they are having some fun. I'm thankful my family is healthy. I'm thankful for YOU and all of my wonderful friends.

This year, since my parents are off on a cruise for their anniversary, we will have Thanksgiving dinner at my Grandma's house. I was going to attempt to make dinner myself (as scared as my kids were about that), but my Grandma wants to make a traditional English dinner for Thanksgiving this year. It should be fun, and we are all looking forward to trying some Yorkshire pudding. My good English friend sent me a recipe for a dessert that is traditional for holiday dinners, so I'm bringing that.... plus a pumpkin pie! My Mom is making a turkey dinner when they get home, but my friend Michelle said she would bring me some turkey for a cold turkey sandwich to hold me over! LOL. You have to have a cold turkey sandwich right?

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday surrounded by loved ones. I want to send you all a big THANK YOU for your nice comments, your friendship, your support and love. You have no idea how much you make my days!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is the stuffing. I grew up with oyster stuffing, but now just have bits of turkey in it. This is my first Thanksgiving outside of Oregon; enjoy the climate for me! Thanks for the chance to win; looks like a great sentiment set. Have a wonderful holiday, and Thanksgiving with grandmas are the best.

In Canada, we celebrate Thanksgiving in October. I am thankful for dear friends that have become cherished surrogate family members, as we live far away from our "real" relatives. Happy Thanksgiving to you in the USA!

I am thankful for my family and their health. As I am new to the blogging world I am also new to the exposure of everyday people like myself who are not so fortunate and have sick children. My thoughts and prayers are always with them and hope nothing but the best for them. So everyday I thank God that all of my children are healthy. Can't wait for tomorrow, pumpkin pie, yummy. Happy Thanksgiving.

I make a gratitude list very frequently, because I've learned that being grateful for what I have in my life empowers me. I am truly grateful for those in my life who love me, support me, encourage me, laugh with me, and cry with me.

I am thankful for the men and women who are sacrificing time with their own families this holiday season to protect our way of life. May God bless our military and their families and keep them safe this Thanksgiving. Here's hoping you and your family have an awesome holiday too. :)

Wow, so much to be thankful for, but I would have to say, know this sounds corny but it is true, loving family and true friends. Can't get better than that, unless I had the winning lottery numbers.

It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without Grandma's stuffing! I'm thankful that even though she's gone now, I still have the memory of her and of course, her recipe!

Sooo many things to be thankful for this year. At the top of the list: my mom's successful battle with breast cancer, and my 8-year-old Scottie's zest for life as he battles bladder cancer.

I am thankful for YOU; you inspire me, I love your creations and I HOPE I win this set because I LOVE Hanna Stamps!!! My favorite is Sourdough bread stuffing (that I only get in CA and when I was there at the beginning of the month, I FORGOT to bring it back with me) so my DMIL went to the grocrey store yesterday & asked the bakery if they had any and the sweet lady MADE me some from a good sourdough loaf (cut it and toasted it, I hope it turns out o.k.!) but how sweet was that of my DMIL??!

Well, there is so much to be thankful for each and every year, but the thing I am most thankful for right this moment is my husband who works two jobs so I can be a stay at home mom to our two boys. I have to say it is the best job in the whole world. Thanks again for the inspiration and sharing of yourself!

Well besides being thankful for my family and friends I am thankful for the patience and understanding my husband grants me by not questioning all my stamping purchases!!!! This is fun, and a great way to get me started thinking about the prayer I will offer before dinner tomorrow. I, too, have much to be thankful for.

I am thankful...
...for food on my table to nourish my body when others go hungry.
...for friends and family to offer comfort, compassion and support, nourishing my soul, when others are lonely.
...and for the daily bread God provides me to nourish my spirit, when others wonder aimlessly without faith.

Happy Thanksgiving!

My favorite Thanksgiving food is Turkey. So much so, that my Grandmother used to make me one every year for my birthday. Hers were so tender and juicy, I just loved them. This year, I will be taking my first try at making my very own. I hope it turns out half as good as Grandmas! Anyway, this year, I am grateful for a healthy family and friends and a dear, loving husband.

Many days I seem to want, want, want instead of need, need, need. Thanksgiving is a time to focus on how many things I have to be thankful for like family, friends, and my health and to pray for contentment with what I have. My favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner is homemade pumpkin pie with whipped cream (yum, yum). Happy everything!!

Pumpkin pie - the recipe straight off the Libbey's can - is my favorite. I usually NEED some about the first of October and my kids are thrilled when they find those pies on the counter when they get home from school in the afternoon. OOOO, so cool! I {heart} blog candy.
Favorite thing for Thankd=sgiving dessert has always been pumpkin pie with REAL whip cream.
as for the things I am thankful for, I am thankful That even though I am flawed and sometime I sin, God still loves me. That I am married to a man that loves me for me, and doesn't see that the outside needs more that a little work. For my biggest blessing, even though I just yelled at him to quit flushing the toilet 15 HUNDRED times, my son. the Dr's figured we could never have him, but God granted us a miracle. For my 3 week old neice, she's just beautiful. That I have food shelter and clothing, and enough of those things to bless others that are less fortunate with the same. I am thankful for my family, and my church family. That they, and I am healthy. For living in a country that is free, and for the men and women that have fought and are fighting for our freedom. May God bless and protect them.

I am thankful to have a wonderful family and to live in a nice community with good neighbors. I can't believe that we don't have snow on the ground yet and that I was out in the yard pulling weeds and clipping back butterfly bushes this afternoon! Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Hi all! Happy Thanksgiving (even though we celebrated last month!) My mother-in-law makes the most delicious REAL cranberry sauce! Thanks for a chance to win a great set!! I've just ordered the last 2 Hannah sets so this is going to be a must have!!
Happy turkey day!!

The best part of having a big turkey dinner is the stuffing and cold turkey sandwiches on fesh white bread the next day. I also love yorkshire pudding, but not with turkey. I could take or leave the dessert.
I have been blessed with so much - God has given me a healthy family, and I live in a country where I can freely worship God without persecution. Also, I have been stamping for two years but it has not been until June of this year that I was introduced to the blogging world and I now and I
have been richly blessed to have my stamping friends.
Thank you for sharing all your creative work.

Thankful for a new 30 X 30 party building (craft studio) beside my house for our family parties. The sheetrock is sanded but not painted but we stopped the workers last week so we could get it clean enough to use for Thanksgiving. We have outgrown gathering in my house since we have 10 children and 8 grandchildren plus brothers and sisters, parents and in laws who come too.

My favorite Thanksgiving food is my grandpa's Turkey - he makes it a very special way and now that he has passed I make it just like he did and think of him. I am so thankful he was in my life.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm thankful for the health of my family - my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in July, but has had her surgery (just a lumpectomy, thank goodness) and a new procedure for radiation that has left her feeling so great she and my dad are off on a trip! In her honor, I'm chosing the squash as mu favorite side dish for the big meal - she always insisted on us eating it, and guess what - I really like it now!

Happy Thankgiving! Mary

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is my moms orange and cranberry jello with cool whip. I went over to her house today and finally learned how to make it, Yeah!! It is a recipe that has been passed down through our family. It contains cranberrys, oranges, pecans, and pineapple. I am so excited that I know how to make it. It does have some sugar in it, but the fresh fruits and nuts make this somewhat healthy:) Happy Thanksgiving to all and happy shopping on Black Friday!!! (If you are brave enough, I am not this year!)

I'm most thankful that my family is for the most part healthy. My husband, who is my biggest concern, is still "well" enough to work and provide for us. As for my favorite dish... I guess I have 2: mash potatoes and peas, and pumpkin pie. I don't really like to cook so homemade mash potatoes is not a "common" dish at home. However, when I make mash potatoes there has to be peas. Thanks for the chance to win some candy and Happy Thanksgiving. Sandra

Hmmm, a traditional English dinner on Thanksgiving! Interesting! I am thankful for my wonderful husband who is upstairs, even as we speak, making our Thanksgiving dinner! My favorite is pecan pie though, and he's not making that.... I am. My aunt brought one every year to our Thanksgiving dinner and she passed away in February, so it's an Aunt Honey memorial Thanksgiving this year!
