Funky Chipboard Flower Baby!
I know, it's funky baby, but I like it. And, yes.... I sewed. I found some black thread! Have I told you that I can sew........ *giggle*. Oh, yah, I'm still totally thrilled with myself. I'm sure I'll get over it soon, but you'll have to bear with me.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the new chipboard matches this set! How cool is that? And, I LOVE that the chipboard changes color so easily. I just rubbed the petals across my pomegranate pad and shazam, it was perfect. The petals are stamped on to soft sky card stock with purely pomegranate classic ink, then cut out and glued onto the chipboard. The background is the new Soft Sky Prints Designer Series Paper. LOVE it! Wouldn't this big ole flower be perfect on scrap pages? I might just have to give it a try!
Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Pick a Petal, That's Nice
Paper: Purely Pomegranate, Soft Sky DS Paper, Basic Black
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Basic Black, Craft White
Other: Black Gingham, Sewing Machine, Slit Punch, Hole Punch, Dimensionals, On Board Blossoms & Basics, Vintage Brads, Circle Punch.

You are convincing me I want this set too! I'm so proud that you can sew!
I have stamped and uploaded it to my SCS blog, but it was all lost last night. Be looking this week.
How close are you to Newport? I will be there June 23,
What a fun card!!

I got this set and haven't done anything with it yet. Must try mounting the petals on the chipboard. I love your idea of stamping the Pomegrante on the blue cardstock - so pretty. You are an adventurer and we are fortunate to benefit from your adventures in paper crafting. Thanks for always sharing.
Wow - you CAN sew! : )
Such a neat card - you have such clever ideas!
This is so cute!! You are the sewing queen now! One question if you have a minute - what ink did you use on the black CS? White craft? THANKS!
This is really cute and those petals and the stitching really pop! TFS
So Cool! Very funky! I haven't attempted to sew yet. I got a sewing machine one year, managed to hem a couple of pairs of pants, and it's been collecting dust ever since! Maybe I should bring it into my craft room!
I do not want this set....I do not want this set...I do not want this set!!! (except after you post this how can I say NO!!??)
Fun fun fun! I love it!

This is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love it! I just found your blog, but I'll be back! I'm almost convinced to dust off my grandmother's sewing machine (which I inherited, but have never used!) and give it a try!
Your cards ROCK! Now I love these products even more and need to have them!!
Oh how I love it when you "do" funky, Cami!

wow, that card may have single-handedly put me over the edge on the new chipboard and that stamp set. How nice to know it colors so easily! Great card, and funky too! Love it!
I've been avoiding chipboard because I thought it would be harder to color. I think I'm going to have to order this next time too! This is a gorgeous card.
sew nice!!!! ar ar ar!!!
Hi Cambria!

I'm so loving all of your cards!!! You've inspired me to pull out that sewing machine too!
You're cracking me up with the sewing. It really does look great though. Love your mix of patterns for the petals. Can't wait to get my hands on these colors (not a demo) and the Wild Wasabi. Mmmmmmm.
WOW!! Just fabulous!
I just can not get enough of your PP and SS color combo. I may have to do my own very, very soon. TFS and your awesome inspirations!
