Okay.. so yesterday went by WAY too fast, but I got to have lunch with friends and I finally hit the grocery store.... man, I hate the grocery store, but I survived.
So, today I'm trying to get all the Valentines ready for Averie's classroom. She is SO excited about Valentine's Day at school. Almost as excited as I am for Friday and the new OCL releases!
These fun boxes are Nicole Heady's pattern. They are based on my friend Mishie's Criss Cross Cards. They are fun and SO easy to make... especially if you use a Scor-pal. :) I'm starting with a piece of 12x12 designer papre from American Crafts, which I cut down to 8.5x11. The tabs that I cut off the box pattern, I'm using to run through the Cuttlebug with a Scallop Nestie for the front. I still have a few pieces left, which I might use to wrap some of the candy with... if I have time! LOL. Why do I wait until the last minute?
Supplies:Stamps: Pat The Dog
Paper: American Crafts Designer Paper
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers.
Other: Crafty Fluff, Quickie Glue Pen, Sakura Glaze Pen, Ribbon, Slot Punch, Circle and Scallop Nesties, Cuttlebug, Purple Cow Cutter with Wavy Blade, Scor-pal.

Cammie I HAVE to tell you. I used Pat the Dog for my DS's valentines for school. Last night he wanted to use this same set to make a Vday card for his Daddy, so I took a deep breath and let him! (He is 5.5 y/o.) He was so surprised when I showed him how to remove the stamps and replace them on the blocks (I've only let him use my SU stamps up to this point.)(Sad to say, I still had the two stamps I used mounted.) He had a blast and couldn't wait to show his Daddy the card; nope no waiting around for Valentine's Day around here! LOL!
