Welcome Baby....
How sweet is this little carriage? I can't ever use my Kraft card stock without thinking of my friend Pinie. She does amazing things with Kraft card stock. I always feel like I'm CASE'ing her just by using it! LOL.
I stamped the Flower Power single from Lizzie Anne Designs with White Craft Ink for the background. The pink background is one of the new Cuttlebug folders. I inked up the folder with Craft Ink, then sandwiched in the card stock and then ran it through my Cuttlebug. So, it's hard to see, but part of that background is white too. The carriage was stamped with Ranger Distress Black Soot ink, then colored in with my aquapainter and craft ink. I let it dry, thed added Bubble Gun, and Angel Wings Shimmerz Paint.
I also used the new Cuttlebug Border strip for the little buttons, and the Sizzix Button Die for the big button across the top layered Pink Piroutte Ribbon.
The Recipe:
Stamps: Flower Power, Baby Carriage Singles (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Paper: Kraft, Pink Piroutte, Whisper White.
Ink: Ranger Distress Black Soot, Craft Pretty in Pink, Craft White.
Other: Cuttlebug Just My Type Borders and Argyle Embossing Folder, Sizzix Button Die, The Big Shot, Hemp Twine, Nesties, Dimensionals, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.
Tomorrow the big yellow bus will come and pick up all my babies! I know I've been counting down the days, but now that it's almost here, I'm a little sad too. Having everyone in school all day is a big reminder that indeed, my baby days are over. I know I'm going to love having some free time, but I'm also going to miss the little boogers........
Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

I adore Kraft CS as well, but mine is usually in disguise by the time I am done w/ it. Love the embossing border paired w/ the buttons. Sweet card!
Hi Cambria, as always, your creations are just beautiful. I love looking at them and it also proves to be dangerous to my wallet because I keep buying many things you use, i.e. Shimmerz. But, I do love using those!!!
Now.. how did you achieve the look of embossed buttons on that strip? I have that same border strip folders but don't recall seeing buttons so I'm guessing you came up with the idea yourself.. please share!
Thank you.
Hi Chong.... don't you love the Shimmerz paint? You are funny... thanks for the smile.
The little buttons came on one of those emobossing borders. I thought it was in the Just My Type group, but I got the "I want it all" package and I just ripped into them when they came. I'll try and figure out which package they came in for sure. :)
Thanks for visiting my blog. :)
This is really adorable! I love the little embossed buttons on it and the stitching finishes it off nicely.
