Holiday Tag Team Quickies

Just a couple quickies this morning with workshop leftovers. I love this little snowman from the set Holiday Tag Team.

The Dashing Designer Paper is awesome! Makes Christmas cards a breeze. Starting on Thursday, you can order any three packages of Designer paper and get the fourth package for FREE. I'm going to stock up baby! :)

My hostess club girls wanted to make criss cross cards, so this is what we did. I used my last three Old Olive Brads, so we used gold ones with a mini glue dot on top, dipped in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. They loved that... and it's always so pretty. :)

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Holiday Tag Team, All Holidays.
Paper: Dashing Designer Paper, Real Red, Shimmery White, Old Olive, Real Red
Ink: Basic Black, Stampin Write Markers.
Other: Circle Punches, Circle Scallop Punch,Key Tag Punch, Crafter's Tool Kit, Brads, Scor-Pal, Janome Sew Mini. Red Gingham, Dazzling Diamonds, Two-way Glue Pen,

Have a great day everyone!! And, have a fun, safe, Halloween tomorrow!!

Season of Joy

Hi... my name is Cami and I'm River Rock challenged. LOL. I ordered it, I NEEDED it, but never opened the package! How bad is that? I went to Stampin'Up! Regionals and saw all these wonderful samples and dang..... okay, I CAN use River Rock.... must try. So, for my workshop this weekend, we used River Rock. I must say, this color is growing on me.

Everyone had the same card stock and ribbon. We had the stamp set Season of Joy, Polka Dot Background and Many Merry Messages. The cool thing is that the designer paper was all different, so everyone had different versions. I wish I had taken my camera so that I could take photos of all the cards. My stampers are THE best!! They totally inspire me.

My friend Jennifer used the snowflake stamp for the center.... which I love! And, I really liked how someone else pierced around the center image.

I took a ideas from everyone and put these together for the club members who couldn't attend.

We all started with the main image. This is another trick we learned at SU! Regionals. They used the 3x3 note cards, but you can use any 3x3 piece of card stock. For a really cool tutorial on how to do this with your Round Tab punch.... check out my downline's blog. Nancy Morgan is DA bomb! Click here to check out the tutorial at Paper Smiles! Paper Smiles indeed!! :)

Okay, so here is the complete Recipe:

Stamps: Season of Joy, Polka Dot Background, Many Merry Messages
Paper: River Rock, Purely Pomegranate, Basic Black, Shimmery White, Holiday Harmony Designer Paper.
Ink: Purely Pomegranate
Other: Round Tab Punch, Circle Scallop Punch, 1 1/4 & 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, Crafter's Tool Kit, Dimensionals, Gold Brads, Mini Glue Dots, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Black Grosgrain, Paper Snips, Scor-Pal.

I'll show you the other card we made tomorrow. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My twins made it to the second round of flag football finals before being eliminated. I'm so proud of them. The did AWESOME for their first year of football and against 6th graders!

Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Hanna DVD Shopping Tin

Did you order your new Hanna set yet? Today is the day! I LOVE this new Holiday set from Hanna Stamps. I mixed and matched both sets to get the shopping bags..... after all, the holidays and shopping go and hand in hand right? And, we all know how great it is to get that PERFECT gift for the ones we love. This is another DVD tin. Perfect for keeping those receipts and holiday wish lists.

Hanna has Fun Flock on her skirt and the tops of her boots. I paper pieced the tree and added lots of glitter too. the "But I need it...." at the bottom is not really embossed although it looks that way. I stamped it first with Palette Noir Black, then went over it with my Sakura Black Glaze pen. Added some Jumbo Eyelets, some Cindy Ribbon and Chocolate Taffeta, some stitching and Hanna is all set to shop and be organized!!

Remember the Long Notes Mini Albums? I had envelopes left over, so I decided to put them to work. I folded them in half, tucked in the flaps, and trimmed the other end a bit. I sewed two together (you can use sticky strip) then used sticky strip to tape them all together at the bottom. I used four envelopes so you can have plenty of pockets for wish lists, receipts, whatever you want! I left the tabs blank since this one is a gift, but you could write names on them of loved ones you need to shop for. The Chocolate Chip Taffeta ribbon, holds them closed and keeps the pen in place too.

These come completely open so that you can easily get in to each pocket. You could also put in index cards to keep track of things too. There are four bigger pockets and four smaller ones. You can click on the photos to see them larger.

The "shop" letters are done with my Cricut and the George Cartridge. I used the Dashing Designer Series paper and Old Olive card stock.

I'm going to post the complete recipe later today. I'm in a rush this morning to get some things done. Don't forget to order your Hanna sets while Kristi is offering free shipping! You will LOVE these stamps. If you can believe it, I'm even MORE excited about the next set coming.

The recipe:

Stamps:
I NEED it, Tis the Season (Hanna Stamps)
Paper: Dashing Designer Series Paper, Shimmery White, Real Red, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip.
Ink: Palette Noir Black, Stampin Write Markers
Other: Vintage Brads, Ticket Corner Punch, DVD Tin, Jumbo Eyelets, Chocolate Chip Ribbon, Cindy Ribbon, Crop-a-dile, Fun Flock, Quickie Glue Pen, Sakura Black Glaze Pen, Sakura Glitter Pen, Long Note Envelopes, Round Tab Punch, Colored Brads, Round Scallop Punch, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.

Have a super day everyone!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Glimmer Fairy

It's hard to get all the glimmer to show up in photos. I had so much fun with this card. Remember when Joy posted her challenge with the Glimmer Mist? I told you I was going to get mine out and play! The background is a piece of Shimmery White card stock from SU! stamped with the big Snowflake from Lizzie Anne Designs in Versamark. I then, sprayed Autumn Leaves Glimmer Mist all over and then dabbed it around with a sponge. When it dried, I stamped more snowflakes from Christmas in the City and the big snowflake with Vanilla Craft, Chocolate Chip and Copper Encore. I'm really happy how it turned out.

The Fairy is stamped with Burnt Umber Palette ink. Then, I took my Quickie Glue Pen and filled in her wings and then added Caramel Latte Tan Fun Flock. I'm loving that Fun Flock. I colored the rest of her in with Stampin'Write Markers, then added more glitter with my Sakura Glitter Pen. The words are from another set from Lizzie Anne Designs called Just Words. I used dream, hope, believe.

Have you checked out the company forums over at SCS? Lizzie Anne Designs is one of the companies who have their very own forum there. I heard that there is a free shipping code in one of those threads. :)

Here is the complete recipe:

Stamps: Just Words, Christmas in the City, Fairy, Snowflake (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Paper: Shimmery White, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa (Stampin'Up!)
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber, Stampin'Write Markers, Vanilla Craft, Chocolate Chip, Copper Encore.
Other: Glimmer Mist, Fun Flock, Quickie Glue Pen, Sakura Glitter Pen, Word Window Punch, Crop-a-dile, Vintage Brads, Dimensionals, Sponges, Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.

Okay.... I have a workshop this Saturday, so I need to get busy and prepare for my hostess girls. I look forward to seeing them each month. They are so much fun. Nothing like getting together with girlfriends to stamp huh?

Have a super day everyone!!

Tis the Season... Hanna Style!

My new Hanna Stamp set arrived yesterday! How cool is she? This set will be available on Friday!!! It's a big set with lots of possibilities! I LOVE that tree!! Those bulbs on the tree are self stick jewels from eP. See her boots? The top of them are fuzzy with Fun Flock!

I think the reason I love these Hanna stamp sets so much is the versatility and FUN. You can really do so much with them. Her dress is paper pieced from the double sided paper behind the image. To paper piece, just stamp your image on your card stock, then again on the designer paper. Cut out the designer paper portions you want to use, then glue them on your card stock. I love the Quickie Glue Pen for that... especially for small pieces. You just write where you want it to stick and it dries fast! I used the same pen for the Fun Flock.

Here is the complete recipe:

Stamps: Tis the Season To Be Pretty (Hanna Stamps)
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Shimmery White, Villa Bouquet (Chatterbox), Rosey Villa Bouquet )Chatterbox).
Ink: Palette, Burnt Umber, Stampin'Write Markers, Stampin' Pastels.
Other: Quickie Glue Pen, Jewel Droplets, Sakura Glitter Pen, Fun Flock, Dimensionals, Chocolate Chip Grosgrain, Ticket Corner Punch, Circle Punches ( 1 1/4, 1 3/8, 1/2 inch) Colored Brads, Dazzling Diamond Glitter, Two-way Glue Pen, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.

I'm still not caught up on laundry from when I was at Portland Stampin'Up! Regionals... I HAVE to do that today before another weekend passes. I've got more ideas swimming in my head for the new Miss Hanna, but it will have to wait until tonight. Hope you all have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Hanna, the Fairy, and Leanne

Remember the other day when I was telling you about Portland, and Sharon letting us play with her Copic Markers and how AMAZING Leanne can color? Well, here are the images she colored for me. I made the cards, but Leann did all the amazing coloring with the Copic Markers. When she asked what color for the Fairy, pink automatically blurted from my mouth. When she asked about Hanna, I restrained and said "whatever you want babe". DANG... girl can color huh?!

I'm not sure of the name of this style of card. I first got one from a super talented gal on SCS named OregonStamper. Here is her card and the instructions. At Stampin'Up! Regionals, they showed us a version of this style and it got my wheels turning. I did the same thing, but with the set they gave us from Regionals using the Coluzzle to make a circle.

This is the inside... hopefully you can see how it opens. It stays closed with the new Build a Brad from Stampin'Up! OMG... these are cool! You just punch out any image or paper with your 1/2 inch circle punch, then glue it on the brad, then cover with the clear toppers. If you place it just barely under your flap, it tucks in just enough to keep the front part closed and also pulls out easily to open.

Again, Leann colored this beautiful fairy for me with Copic Markers while we were in Portland. She really just "pops" off the paper in real life.

The bottom portion of this card is SO pretty. I need a shimmery/glitter button on the screen. LOL. My friend Mounds (okay, so really her name is Joy), was giving away some free Glimmer Mist over the weekend, so it challenged me to open it up and give it a try. I started with Stampin'Up Shimmery White card stock, then sprayed it with Snowflake Glimmer mist. I put too much on, so I reached for a sponge to dab it around, and the sponge had some Regal Rose ink on it so turned it a pretty rosie color! How cool is that? I wish you could see how glimmery it is!! I waited for it to dry and stamped The Snowflake first with Blush Blossom classic ink, then Regal Rose.

This card opens the same was as the one above, but instead of a brad to keep it closed, I used those cool little magnets. Thanks so much Leanne for coloring my images!! I want those markers... it's on my list... my ever growing list. LOL.

Here are the complete recipes:

Stamps: Hanna Stamps, But I NEED it
Paper: Blue Bayou, Shimmery White (Stampin'Up!), Tang, Beach Blossoms paper (Chatterbox)
Ink: Palette Noir Black, Copic Markers
Other: Build-a-Brad, Stitched Blue Bayou Ribbon, Slot Punch, Corner Rounder Punch,Crafter's Tool Kit, Scor-Pal.

Stamps: Fairy, Snowflake (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Paper: Shimmery White, Blush Blossom, Pink Passion, Regal Rose (Stampin'Up!)
Ink: Palette Noir Black, Copic Markers, Blush Blossom, Regal Rose.
Other: Coluzzle, Pink Gingham, Cuttlebug, Sledding Embossing Folder, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-pal, Corner Rounder Punch, Glitter Pen, Magnetic Snaps.

Hope you all had a nice weekend. I've got new stamps from Hanna on the way to my house (just wait till you see.... omgosh, I'm excited). And, new Gina K too! Gina K has a new line coming out and you are just going to LOVE them!! Have a super day !! Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Birthday Tins

The twins were invited to a Halloween birthday party, so I thought it would be fun to decorate some tins and fill them with treats and a present. We love to give movie money as birthday gifts especially when they are invited to girl parties. LOL. They HATE shopping for girl things. So, I just rolled up the movie money, then punched out the matching paper with the Round Tab Punch and used those cute little Mini Library Clips out of the Holiday Mini to hold them closed. The rest of the tin was filled with small Halloween toys and candy.

This paper is SO awesome. It's flocked! You seriously can't stop touching it. I also added some Creepy Crawly DS paper to the center of the spider can. The ribbon is May Arts from Starlitstudio attached with Sticky Strip. I couldn't put anything in the center of the orange one... the words were just too cool all flocked up and fuzzy to cover. For the tops, I used the stamp set Batty for You with the Round Scallop Punch.

The birthday girls really liked them. It was a super fun party! The twins were both dressed as scary dudes that dripped blood and Averie was the cutest little witch. They are really geared up for Halloween now.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Lizzie Anne Fairy

Last weekend in Portland, Sharon Harnist (StamperSharon) was kind enough to demo for us and share her Copic Markers. Wow... she is amazing.. totally amazing. Coloring is not my strong point, so I was sure I was NOT going to be enabled into wanting these.... right? And, well, Sharon is Sharon and of course she was going to make them appealing (even to me, who cannot color). Well, I was pretty happy with my first attempts. I had taken with me some stamped images to trade and share with the girls. I colored the flowers from High Hellos and the Fairy from Lizzie Anne Designs. Oh yah, these are fun....maybe I can color (she says in her head).

THEN.... wouldn't ya know it.... Leann (elyoho on SCS) was sitting next to me and I glanced over at what she was doing and SHAZAM... nearly fell out of my chair. Now, I knew Leanne was a VERY talented stamper but DANG... girl can COLOR baby. BLOW ME AWAY!! So, she took pitty on me and colored a couple images of mine. I will show you in the next few days. I don't want you to see my fairy right next to her fairy. LOL. Huge thank you to Sharon for letting us play with her Copics. And... I just have to say, YOU ENABLER! Dang it, I want them. It's healthy not to have everything you want though right? Right. ;)

Here is the complete recipe:

Stamps: High Hellos, Fairy, Fairy, Fairy Saying
Paper: Blue Bayou, Purely Pomegranate, Shimmery White, Chatterbox 2-sided paper.
Ink: Palette Noir Black, Copic Markers,
Other: Stardust glitter pen, Photo Corner Punch, Designer Label Punch, Key Tag Punch, Colored Brads (Soft Subtles), Dimensionals,Purely Pomegranate Double Stitched Ribbon, Scor-Pal.

Have a great weekend everyone! I'm going to try and squeeze in some time to play with my Glimmer Mist. Thanks for stopping by!!

Psst....check out the new member forums at SCS and find a free shipping code for Lizzie Anne Designs!! :)

More Halloween Treats

I didn't use much stamping on this stuff, but OMGosh, you don't need to with this AWESBOMB paper. I wish you could see all the sparkle and embossing. And.... not to be an enabler, but it's on sale at eP! Talk about EASY projects for Halloween. Look at this Jeepers Creepers line of paper by Heidi Grace.... it is totally divine. And, it's ON SALE!

These little tins are SO much fun. They hold 12 Hershey nuggets. You can't see in the photo, but the polka dot paper has raised dots and they are all glittery. The candy corns are raised and also glittery... the trick or treat is embossed in black!! It only takes a 1 inch x 3 inch piece of paper to cover each nugget, so it's quick and easy... but so dang impressive in the tin!! The tin in front has the spider web from Stampin'Up's retired set Web Wishes. It is stamped with White Stazon directly on the clear top. I added Jumbo Eyelets and some Black Gingham ribbon to the paper and made a belly band. No stamping on either of the tins other than the web. The card uses the Batty for You
set, also from Stampin'Up!. Are you running out of time? This paper is PERFECT for quick easy treats that are sure to be a huge hit. I don't want to give them away!!! I hope to can get a bunch more made by Halloween!!

Can you SEE it? Oh, da glittah baby! (You can click on the photo for a larger view)

Here is the complete recipe:

Stamps: Web Wishes, Batty for You ©Stampin'Up! 1990-2007
Ink: White Stazon, Black Stazon, Stampin' Write Markers
Paper: Jeepers Creepers Paper, Basic Black, Only Orange, Shimmery White.
Other: Circle Scallop Punch, 1 3/8 & 1 4/4 Circle Punches, Photo Corner Punch, Gingham Ribbon, Jumbo Eyelets, Crop-a-dile, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.

I don't know where October has gone. I have SO much to do yet. I think I NEED more of this paper though. I can hoard some for next year too. Hope you all have a great week... as always, thanks for stopping by!

So Much Thanks

We got this stamp set at Portland Regionals this last weekend...... it's really a cool set. It's called
So Much. Love those circles. This card opens by sliding the hodgepodge piece down, then the flower part flips up and the lower portion (with the SO Much on it) pulls down. I made the circle with my Coluzzle. I'm SO addicted to the Cutie Pie Designer Paper. The colors just float my boat and I love all the designs too.

Here is the inside view when open:

When you are cutting with your Coluzzle, place one of the notches (where you would normally clip) at the top of your folded cardstock. This will make your front circle so that it opens from the top.

Here is the complete recipe:

Stamps: So Much, All Holidays
Paper: Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, Cutie Pie DS Paper.
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Basic Black Craft.
Other: Coluzzle, Hodgepodge, Rhinestone Circle Brads, Soft Subtle Brads, 1/2 Circle Punch, Large Oval Punch, Three For You Flower Punch, Crafter's Tool Kit, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.

I'm still wiped out from the weekend and catching up. Hope you all have a wonderful week. Thanks for stopping by!

Portland Baby!!

Wow..... I can't even put into words how much fun I had in Portland this weekend hanging out with friends. Saying that I feel blessed to have these amazing women in my life doesn't even cover it. I was asked and was honored to present a workshop wow for Stampin'Up! Regionals in Portland. Okay... so nervous doesn't even cover that. LOL. I was BEYOND nervous. What can I say.... I get by with a little help from my friends. I couldn't see a thing on stage, but I could hear my friends...... they even held up pink letters that spelled out CAMILICIOUS..... LOL. I had fans.... snort! They truly made me feel like a rock star..... it was my five minutes of fame and it was SCARY!

Jess (newtnewt on SCS) and Lisa (onestampinmama on SCS) spent hours hauling all of us around to and from the airport and all over Portland. From the minute I saw all of them at the airport, until the minute we had to say goodbye, I felt the love and friendship we all share. It's amazing... for lack of of a bigger, more bomalicious word.

I love Stampin'Up! and I love my fellow demonstrators. I want to say a big... no, HUGE thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello to me, and for the nice pats on the back about my presentation (even though it was SO obvious that I was terrified). If you ever have the chance to make it to a SU! event, it will be a guaranteed, positive, loving, just THE best time ever!! Shelli and her straff are just AWESBOMB! I just wanted to hug them all!!

There are tons more photos on SCS if you want to see the display boards and awesome projects that were presented. OMG... I got to finally meet Beate, Lori Craig and Sharon!! That was pretty darn exciting!

I could ramble all day, but it's back to real life. Nothing like a weekend with the girls and Stampin'Up!..... not much can top that baby! Well.... the hugs from my family in the airport when I arrived home were maybe just a bit above that!!

Thanks for making me feel like a bomb girls......

Have a super day!!!

Lizzie Anne Tooth Fairy Tin

Okay... so I know that today is World Card Making Day, but you know when you get something in your head and you just can't shake it? Well, from the first time I spied this cute fairy from Lizzie Anne Designs, I've had this idea about a tooth fairy container. My daughter, who is 5 cannot wait to lose a tooth. Every time her brothers lose one, she claims she has a couple that are "ready for the tooth fairy". I hate to disappoint her, but none of the boys lost teeth until they were in first grade. Hey.... at least now we are prepared... right?

This was SO easy, and so much fun to make. The paper is from Chatterbox. It's the premium two sided kind... very sturdy. It's called Garden Swing Stripe. I used Mod Podge to adhere it to the tin. I then used my Crop-a-dile to punch holes all the way around and added Rhinstone brads from SU! for some bling bling. Girls love bling ya know ;). I used my Coluzzle to cut the cirlces for the top. I don't have that big or mega scallop punch, but my friend Beate sent me some a long time ago punched out in whisper white card stock. Her dress is SO soft and beautiful. I colored the bottom portion with my Quickie Glue pen then sprinkled over the top with Pixie Pink Fun Flock. How cool is that? Averie loves that part!! I added a tiny star jewel to her wand and of course added sparkle with the Sakura Glitter pen.

Here is the complete recipe:

Stamps: Fairy (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Paper: Chatterbox, Whisper White card stock
Ink: Palette Noir Black, Stampin'Write Markers, So Saffron, Bashful Blue Classic Ink pads.
Other: Rhinestone Brads, Circle Ice and Fire Square (Stampin'Up!), Crop-a-dile, Word Window Punch, Coluzzle, Quickie Glue Pen, Fun Flock, Sakura Glitter Pen, Ribbon (unknown), Daubers, Stampin' Sponge, Snap Stamps.

If you haven't been over to Lizzie Anne Designs yet today, you better hurry. They are running some AWESBOMB specials today only!! Don't forget to check out their card contest too!!

Have a super weekend..... hope you get a ton of cards made!! Thanks for stopping by!
