Weekend Sketch 101

Hey everyone! Happy Friday! Sorry I'm late. My Grandma missed a stair last night and scared us all! A slight concussion and a few stitches later, she is home and resting. She will be fine, but boy did it shake us all up. I finished my card this morning after making sure she was okay. I *think* I'm done shaking!

This cute beaver is from one of our very first releases and one of my favorite sets called Bubs the Beaver. The paper is from My Mind's Eye, Pretty Please line. The peachy colored paper is the reverse side of the "Blossoms". I used some pearl bling from BasicGrey and a cute Pink Pearl Trinket flower pin by Maya Road.

The beaver has Sparkly Fluff on his hands and part of his tail. The leaves and grass all have a touch of Sparkly Fluff too. The heart on the stump is all sparkly with atyou Spica Pen, then coated with Glossy Accents to make it stand out. I used Nesties for all the shapes and grabbed my Janome Sew Mini for the stitching.

Check out the rest of the team to see what they did with the weekend sketch!

The beaver is adorable. I just bout "Mouse Party" at a scrapbook expo. I know it is not a new stamp set, but if you have it, could you please use it in some cards. I really need the inspiration. Thanks
