Whooo Hoooo... so it's been one year! I can't believe I'm an official "blogger". Love your blog, your cards and a Happy one year Anniversary. Have a great easy crock pot recipe. Dredge bone in pork chops in a mix of flour, dry mustard, garlic salt and pepper. Brown in oil. Transfer to the crock pot and cover with a can of chicken-rice soup and cook for 8 hours on low. Falls apart! Count me in for the blog candy!

#274 Love your blog!! I felt for you when your boys got attacked by th dogs. My now huge 19 year old was attacked and knocked down by the neighbors dogs. The 'house' dogs bolted out of the house and got my two year old babe. Luckily it was back in the day when they had big thick diapers! So the teeth just scratchd his behind. My 12 year old nephew came to the rescue. I saw the whole thing happen, like it was yesterday!! The dog owners couldn't see why we might be upset???

Ok, for a favorite family dinner, my recipe for Crockpot Turkey Breast. Use one of those 5lb. frozen turkey breasts in a plastic bag. They are usually about $10. Remove the plastic bag and the gravy mix. Place frozen into your crockpot. You may add 1/2 cup of water if you wish. Cook all day (about 8 hours)on High. Before serving open the crockpot and, using 2 forks, shred the turkey meat. There will be turkey broth in the crockpot from cooking it all day, so just let the shredded turkey sit in those juices for about 15 mintues and then serve. I don't even add any seasoning. You won't believe how good this is - nothing like Thanksgiving turkey. I've even done this with boneless chicken breast (but not as long). They are also delicious. Try serving the shredded turkey breast with mashed potatoes. Yummm!

Am I number 322?? Here is an easy something easy i cook ALL the time for supper: TACO SOUP
Brown 1 pound hamburger, drain and put in crockpot. Add 1 can pinto beans, 1 can lima beans, 1 can hominy and 1 big can diced tomatoes and 1 small can diced tomatoes w/chilies. Add 1 package taco seasoning and 1 package ranch mix. No need to drain any of the cans until you want your soup really thick. Heat and enjoy! serve w/sour cream and shredded cheese. We eat this a LOT!!! It is YUMMY!!!!

Enchilada Casserole
1 Lb. Ground Beef or Sirloin
2 Cans Enchilada Sauce
1 – 1 ½ C. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 Can Whole Kernel Corn, drained
1 – 2 Small Cans Sliced Black Olives
1 Small Onion, chopped
8-12 Corn Tortillas, cut in quarters
Garlic Salt, Pepper, Chili Powder, Cumin, Paprika
Brown meat and onions. Add seasonings to taste. Drain grease and add corn, enchilada sauce and olives and simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cut tortillas in quarters. Using a 9 x 13” casserole dish, place shallow layer of enchilada sauce mixture, then tortillas to cover whole pan, then enchilada sauce mixture, a little cheese, and repeat layers ending with cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
Add a green salad & you have a balanced meal

New to these blogs. You have a beautiful style. Very original. I will share a recipe since you mentioned it.
Ingredients:
1 premade pound Cake
1 tub light frozen whipped topping thawed
Blueberries (large container)
1 Tblsp. Lemon Zest (or 1 lemon)
Honey
1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
Mix lemon zest, whipped topping, honey and optional lemon juice together.
Cube pound cake into 1/2 to 1 inch squares and put in individual serving bowls.
Top pound cake with blueberries, and honey/lemon whipped topping.
Yummy! And a good source of fruit! :-)

Great blog, very instructive
Easy crockpot chicken -- 4 frozen chicken breasts, pour a packet of dry Good Seasons Italian dressing mix, add 1 cup chicken broth, cook on low 8-10 hours. Yummy!

I don't have a lot of recipes because I, too, am not a cooker...but one thing I love to make is Paula Deen's Corn Casserole...(and I add an extra can of corn...)
1 can of creamed corn
2 cans of regular corn, drained
1 stick of butter melted
8 oz sour cream
1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix
1 1/2 cups sharp shredded cheeses
Mix up everything except the cheese and pour in a 9x13 sprayed casserole. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on top. Put back in oven for 10 minutes. YUMALICIOUS!!!
