All in the Family

I got this set a few months back and was thrilled to see the matching set Family Phrases in the new catalog. How fun is this? I love all the options for the body parts and the heads. I'm way behind in thank you cards, so that is what I'm working on today in between loads of laundry. Trust me... with three boys and one little princess, I have LOADS of laundry. :)

The background is the new Twill background stamp stamped with Craft White. I like how it turned out. The hearts are made with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Speaking of which, eP has all the new embossing folders in their store now! I ordered a couple yesterday and can't wait to get them! I've been neglecting my bug.

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: All in the Family, Family Phrases, Twill Background Stamp
Paper: Blue Bayou, Buckaroo Blue, Shimmery White, Real Red.
Ink: Basic Black, Copics, Stampin'Write Markers
Other: Word Window Punch, Dimensionals, Large Brass Eyelets, Cindy Ribbon, Crop-a-dile, Real Red Brads, Scor-Pal.

Hope you all have a great day and stay warm! Thanks for stopping by!

this card is adorable!! I love that background stamp too! I have yet to use this set (sad, I know!) but I need to break it out if just to make myself a card for the family - lol!!! And, having two boys and a princess myself, I know exactly what you mean about the laundry! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex

Okay, I know, if you have said it once, you've probably said it a thousand times, but I am a little slow. Help a girl out, will you?

On Hanna and the Family set, I see colors behind/actually beside the images.Did you outline the images with a light colored copic? Or did you use the copic spritzing tool? I can't quite tell on my monitor. Would you tell me the color you used/ I fel like I am asking for a secret family recipe here. Sorry about that.

Oh that is beautiful. Love that set but it drives me crazy, even with the SAMJ! Maybe you'll inspire me to try harder. Kim
