Hope You'll Come and Lounge with Me!!

Okay, so first off, I need to get a big WHOOOO HOOOO out! Then, a deep breath...... are you ready?

So, that other little announcement is not so little... at least to me! There is another reason I've been absent for awhile... besides keeping busy with family. Yah, it's the big bright letters over there.... that "new" company. I've taken a HUGE step, along with a couple of awesome partners, and started our own stamp company! Can you believe it? I'm not so sure I believe it! LOL. Can someone pinch me?

It's a very long story, but it all started at that Copic Certification Class with Marianne Walker.. remember my Copic idol? It went something like this... " Hey, Marianne (with my jaw on the floor as I looked through her sketch books), you should make stamps." She said, " I'd love to draw if you want to make stamps." I looked around... to make sure she was talking to me! My dear friends Nancy Morgan, Joy (aka Mounds) Kennedy, and Leann Yoho were at the class too and were SO encouraging.... we just couldn't stop thinking about it all weekend as we colored. So.... (I'm going to make this short, but I will share the whole story another time if you want to hear it), months later, Joy hooked me up with this amazing chick named Kimberly, who KNOWS SO MUCH about the crafting world. Meanwhile, I was begging Joy to join us until she caved... because we could not have done any of this without her. I knew she'd cave. She cannot resist Cams. *giggle* So, here we are... many months later... the three amigos getting Our Craft Lounge all ready for YOU.

I just have to say, that none of this could have happened without SO much help from family and friends... I'd have a zillion posts if I listed everyone. You've seen some of the bloggers over the last few days who have helped and been amazingly supportive, but there are many many more who helped us make this possible. I also want to thank Marianne, who I'm sure wanted to strangle me a few times. I think if she heard.. "can you draw us....." one more time, she might just go bonkers. Oh, and please take a minute to visit her blog... I hear she made a card for the Premiere. We ARE going to turn that girl into a stamper! *wink*
