Riley's Gone Fishin'
This Riley Moose line from Hanna Stamps is just so much FUN. Can you see his fuzzy antlers? They are Fun Flocked... now I'm thinking I should have done his hooves too. That stuff is addictive, and SO easy with the Quickie Glue Pen.
The sentiment is from an old set I dug out made by Close to My Heart called Fishing for Fun. The inside says "Catch All The Fun You Can." My almost 15 yr. old teenager even commented on this one..... "hey, that's pretty cool Mom." Makes me smile. :)
I wish I could get a better photo, but I'm afraid it's dreary and rainy here on the OR coast. The fishing line and water is glitterfied with my new Spica Clear Pen (OMG, it's cool). The paper is from Chatterbox called Swing Stripe. I think I am ready for summer. For some reason that paper reminds me of hammock. I paper pieced Riley's hat to match. I'm still playing with my Copics and counting down the days until I get to go to the certification class in Eugene. Anyone want to join me April 11th? I'm sure I'll come back wanting the whole Copic store.... but hopefully a much better colorer. Is that a word? Colorer? LOL.
Here is the recipe:
Stamps: Riley Moose (Hanna Stamps) Fishing for Fun (CTMH)
Paper: Only Orange, Whisper White, Ballet Blue, Chatterbox.
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copics, Spica Clear Glitter.
Other: Crafter's Tool Kit, Dimensionals, Marvy Scallop Punch, Soft Subtle Brads, Black Glaze Pen.
Okay... so my friend Bev Gerard is hosting a challenge in the Hanna Member forums. Want to come and play with us? Check it out... click here.
Have a great weekend everyone!!

What a beautiful cute card!! :)
Great card, Cambria! I love the flocking. I wish I could go to the copic class. Hard time of year for us to travel and my daughter's birthday is right around that time. Hopefully, they will have another one. Have a great weekend!
This is positively darling, Cami! My hubby & I used to go fishing for dates! (Well ... we've gone fishing a lot since then too! *wink*) Your son is right! This is very cool!
(((hugs)))

That Riley is just too cute! Using flocking was VERY SMART, your card is fantastic. Isn't it wonderful when a teenager connects with you, LOL?? I'm having the same issue with my nephew who will be 13 on Thurs. TFS.
I love this!!! Love the colors. :-)
