Phrases For a Friend

Good afternoon everyone. Sorry for no post yesterday. No, I'm not off organizing, I'm hanging with the kids and trying to get caught up on some things around the house. We had a sunny day yesterday, now we are back to rain. It is, indeed, Spring here on the OR coast.

I'm going to share the other workshop card we made. Some Summer Picnic Designer paper, Some Wasabi Special paper, Die Cut Blooms, the new Styled Silver Hodgepodge kit, add a little chunky glitter plus rub ons and SHAZAM, you've got a zillion easy cards. Well, maybe not a zillion, but a ton. You do get a zillion flowers with the Die Cut Blooms sheets. *wink*

We didn't do anything but fold on the score line, add some ribbon, paper piercing and scallops with the corner punch. The paper is cut 4x4, so you can get 9 pieces from one piece of paper. The flowers match the colors in the Summer Picnic pack, so it's easy peasy! We did not add the chunky glitter at the workshop because the Crystal Effects takes awhile to dry. But, all I did was throw then into my small Powder Pal tray, add the Crystal Effects in the grooves, then dumped the chunky glitter over the top of them and let them dry. Glitterfied slides baby. :)

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Phrases for a Friend (Occasions Mini)
Paper: Wasabi Special Textured Paper, Summer Picnic Designer Paper.
Ink: Whisper White Craft
Other: Die Cut Blooms, Crafter's Tool Kit, Small Corner Rounder Punch, Grosgrain Ribbon, Styled Silver Hodgepodge Kit, A Perfect Day Rub-Ons, Crystal Effects, Red Chunky Essentials Glitter, Mini Glue Dots.

Don't give up on me... I will get the Carousel Note Tote tutorial soon. It's next on my list. :) Have a great day everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

I just LOVE this card!!!! I have almost a zillion of those blooms, so once my fruity dp arrives, I can make my zillion cards, following your splendid example.

Super cute, even if there's no pink on it! LOL Great inspiration for the bulk buys. Love the rub-ons on the ribbon.
