Merci

Less than a week left to take advantage of the free Sale-a-bration sets. How can you not want them all? Stampin'Up! does that to me every year. When I first see the sets, I don't want them all, but then when I SEE all the things people do with them... I NEED them all. This was my least favorite set. Then, my friend Nancy Morgan totally changed my mind about it. She made me fall in love with that butterfly .

This is a card I demo'd at my last workshop. I told you about my friend Kathie who uses her Watercolor Wonder Crayons for almost all of her coloring? She inspires me to use mine more. I probably should have let HER do the demo. LOL. Anyway, this was fun and I'm pledging to use my crayons more... I do need some practice. The stitching around the image is faux stitching done with my Crafter's Tool Kit. After I got home, I added some stitching with my little, loved, Janome Sew Mini.

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Merci (FREE during SAB)
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Watercolor Paper, Berry Bliss Designer Paper.
Ink: Black Stazon
Other: Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Aquapainter, Crafter's Tool Kit, Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.

Okay... time is running out for those of you who are thinking of joining Stampin'Up! and becoming a demonstrator! The Starter kit is 20% off, plus you get to pick an extra stamp set from the catalog! This offer ends along with SAB on March 17th.

Guess what's in my crock pot? You got it.... Crock Pot Vomit! One of the many recipes you left me in the comment section for the blog candy! I can't wait to try it.... I sure hope it tastes better than it's name. I might have to rename it so that when the kids ask me what's for dinner, they won't cringe. Or... maybe I won't. The boys will probably think it's cool.

Have a super day everyone!

Oh Cambria you are going to love dinner. I was leaving a post that day and the title kinda jumps at you. Well I tried it over the weekend and it is wonderful. Thanks whoever left it for me too!!
p.s. I called mine crockpot chicken, my dad has a week stomach and would never eat anything with that title :)

This was my least favorite set, too. It was the last one I got and the one I have used the most. My favorite, Friendship Blooms, is the one I have used least.

Lovely card. I love the Berry Bliss paper.

Ok, I have place 2 different orders because I placed one because I wanted the So Many Scallops. Got that order realized I don't really like the set as much as I thought. Placed a second order because I HAVE to have the Friendship Blooms set! SO now I've spent $130 to get 2 FREE sets and now you show me the Merci set and of course I need that one too now! Unfortunately I am out of money and out of time!! Great coloring job!!

Gorgeous card Cambria! I saw that recipe too and had to stash it away for further consideration. I'd love to hear how the family responds to it! ~chris

How did you get the "old" look on the paper? What is the brand of the crayons?

Hi Stacie,
It's the watercolor wonder crayons from Stampin'Up! I simply colored right on to the paper, then used the aquapainter to spread around.

Thanks for the nice comments girls!
