Jersey Shore Baby
I had to have the set In the Stars out of the Occasions Mini, but this is the first time I've used it! I must get it out and ink it up more. I really need to start writing down my thoughts..... there was something I had in mind for it, and now I can't remember. Anyway, I used it for the stars in the background and the cute round baby sentiment. The onesie is from the set By Ones & By Twos. I think this is my all time favorite baby set.
So, do you jot down your ideas? Do you have a sketch book? How do you keep track of your ideas and projects? Fill me in, help me organize my brain please. LOL.
I have more running around to do today... what a busy week. I'm sure everyone is getting ready for the holiday weekend and the end of the school year.
Oh, I had fun last night helping my oldest son make a family tree. He had to make it on a big white poster board. Guess what I used? MY COMPRESSOR and Copic Air Brush system..... all I can say, is he will have THE best sky, dirt and textured tree in class baby! Now, if he can remember the speech part of it in Spanish! :) And I did offer to let him spray, but he thought it was overboard and was happy to let me spray away. After I was done... he admitted it looked pretty darn cool. I wonder if they will guess that his Mom's hobby is? (it's a part of his speech... to describe each family member and then share their hobby) LOL.
Okay... must get going, here is the recipe:
Stamps: In the Stars, By Ones & By Twos.
Paper: Only Orange, Shimmery White, Brilliant Blue, Bashful Blue, Jersey Shore Designer Paper.
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copics, Whisper White
Other: Nesties, Dimensionals, Round Circle Punch, Marvy Scalloped Circle, Stripped Ribbon, Vintage Brads, Crafter's Tool Kit, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-pal.
Have a great day everyone!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Love the card! Would your son share his project board? I'd love to see it!
WOW Cami, I have not visited in a while (very busy here) and I have missed a bunch of BEAUTIFUL cards!!!! I just love to visit your blog!!!
So did you take pictures of the tree?? I bet it was the best ever. I probably should write down my ideas then I wouldn't forget them.
So sweet Cambria, I do love orange and blue together!
Great card, love the brad detail by the "BABY"! WONDERFUL!
Totally cute card Cami! I usually jot down my ideas on paper as I am looking through the catty, then when I get the sets, I put a copy of my notes in each on to remember what I wanted to do - I don't always do them, but hey, its' a start, lol! This is actually one of my fave sets for parties, grads, military, etc and have used it a lot - praying for it to stay another year! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
FANTASTIC!!!!!!
Gorgeous card, I love this color combo today, perfect!!!
This is such a cute baby card!!! I just love that onesie. These colors together are fabulous! Thanks for sharing! :-)
Cami,
Adorable cards as always. You are so talented. I'd never heard of copic markers before I saw your blog; but I must say they are awesome!
As for me and how I record my ideas. I keep a notebook just for stampin and scrappin ideas. I love to look through magazines (any kind, not just stamp/scrap) and get ideas for color combos and layouts. I write them all down in my trusty little notebook and make sketches based off of the colors that I want to work with. So, I guess for me, it's color....stamps....layout.
Works for me. Oh, and I take that little notebook everywhere!!!
Have a great night.
The card is adorable but the story of the "Family Tree" is the best !! I'm sure the project will bring home and A for the student and his Mom !! :)
This is so cute, love all the dots and stars! I keep telling myself I need to get a notebook & start writing things down, but I haven't done it yet.
this is cute! i love the onsie and great colors.
great card, and I'd love to see a picture of that family tree you created!
I write my ideas down in a notebook. I often dream of designs and write them down first thing in the morning so I won't forget.
hi Cami, love your card - it's so stinkin' cute!! And yes, don't you just love using your tools when it comes to school projects?! I'm always so happy to have my boy use my products for his projects too. I hope you share your son's project - we want to oooo n' ahhhhh too!!!!
Hugs n' ALoha,
Jen
