One of a Kind
Hey everyone! Another busy day today. I wanted to share this card made with my One of a Kind and Boho Boho Backgrounds sets from Stampin'Up!
I am playing with some techniques that I learned from the Copic Certification class. See the background under the flower? I airbrushed the entire piece of whisper white card stock with R59 using the Copic Airbrush system. If you don't have the airbrush system, you could easily cover the entire piece with the chisel end of the same marker. Then, I folded piece of paper towel, put it inside my small embossing pal tray, then saturated it with "the magic juice". I stamped the image onto the paper towel (like you would on an ink pad), then onto the card stock. It magically took away the color. It's so pretty IRL. I used Markers R29 and R59 , and the colorless blender pen to make the flower. Cool huh? Have I told ya how much I LOVE Copic Markers?
Here is the recipe:
Stamps: Boho Backgrounds, One of a Kind (Stampin'Up!)
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Blush Red Dark Prism.
Ink: Whisper White Craft, Brilliance Graphite Black, Copic R29 and R59, Colorless Blender Pen.
Other: Rectangle Nesties (thanks Roseanne!), Scallop Punch, Slit Punch, Crafter's Tool Kit, Vintage Brads, Black Gingham Ribbon, Dimensionals, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal, Copic Air Brush System, Colorless Blender Pen Solution..... or as we call it, "the magic juice".
Have a super day and thanks for stopping by!

This is an awesome card!!!! I wanted to ask you a question, when you said you saturated it with "the juice", did you saturate the stamp or the paper towel that was wrapped around the cardstock? Thanks so much, I want to go try this sooo bad :)
Joanna.... the paper towel was folded and in my embossing tray. I saturated the towel with the juice, then used it as a stamp pad with the stamp. Sorry for the confusion. :)
