I've been trying so hard to find a way to splurge on these markers. But for now I just use Jody Morrow's Drunken Water-coloring technique with my SU markers. I also love using SU watercolor crayons as well.

I just got some copics a little while ago and haven't really played enough to have a favorite color. But I love the copics smooth lay down and blendability. Thanks for the chance to win.
P.S. I love your blog. I can't tell you how many times your creations have inspired me.

Thanks for the chance to win some copic markers. I'm new to copic and the only thing I have refilled is the blender pen. I don't know if I could pick out a favorite but I did experiment with ice cream as a snowman's scraf and I really liked it. I think it was from the BG series

WOW - I would love a chance at winning some of these markers. I can't find them where I live an I just haven't ordered any online. I have seen some many images colored with copic markers and would really like to give them a try.

Wow, I would just about give my right eye for some of these, but with my current limited sight, no one would want to trade me...so I'm forced to comment in high hopes of winning some!!! LOL
You love easy recipes??? Can't get much easier than this one:

Chicken and Stuffing, Crock-Pot Style
A great fuss free meal that is perfect for a Sunday night.

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 8oz pkg of herb stuffing
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/4 cups hot water

Place chicken breasts in crockpot. Pour and spread cream of chicken soup over the chicken. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter with the water and add the stuffing. Pour this over the chicken and soup. Cover and bake on low for 4 hours.
Thanks for all your amazing and awesome projects!!!

Cambria, you sweet thing, thank you for offering this. I have a great recipe for when you have friends over to watch football games or game nights:

From Chef Tom:
Olive Garden's Fried Mozzarella Bites

Ingredients:
16 oz Package of Mozzarella Cheese
2 Eggs Beaten
1/4 Cup Water
1 1/2 Cup Italian Bread Crumbs
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt
1 teaspoon Italian Seasonings
2/3 Cup Flour
1/3 Cup Corn Starch

Preparation:
Cut the mozzarella into either triangles or sticks. Beat the eggs
with water and set aside. Mix the bread crumbs, garlic salt, and
Italian seasonings and set aside. Blend the flour with corn starch
and set aside.

Heat your vegetable oil for deep frying to 360 degrees. Dip cheese
in flour then in egg wash and then coat with bread crumbs. Place
carefully in hot oil and fry until golden, this takes just a few
seconds so watch carefully. When golden remove from hot oil and
drain.

Serve with marinara sauce.

Currently, B29 is my go-to color. But I love all hues of blue.

Here's a quick entertaining recipe. Use all green peppers for a festive red and green dish. Bonus - omit the chips for a relatively healthy snack.

Easy Taco Dip
1 Large container of cottage cheese
1 dry package of Taco seasoning
½ c. Shredded cheddar cheese
1 Green pepper – diced
1 Yellow pepper – diced
1 Orange pepper – diced
1 large Tomato – diced

Mix taco seasoning and cottage cheese. Place in shallow dish (glass pie plate or 8”x8” glass dish work the best). Sprinkle with cheese. Cover with peppers and tomatoes. Serve with TOSTITOS SCOOPS®.

Thanks for the blog candy chance to win!!
I don't use copics, I use mostly prismacolors. However, copics are most definitely on my list to try!!

Anna said...

I'm just starting to gather copics. I started out by buying black,a couple of grays and tones of green and brown. I don't have a favorite yet. It is always so hard to choose as they all look yummy! I treat myself to 3 or 4 every two to three weeks. LOL! At this rate it will take me FOREVER! so to win this would be a treat for sure!

I love my aqua brushes and use them with many mediums from watercolor pencils, H20's and dye reinkers, sometimes layering them to achieve the colors and look I want.

Here's an easy Peach Cobbler recipe for you. It is always a hit when I cook it for work or for home.

Preheat oven to 450

Ingredients:
1 large can sliced peaches in heavy syrup
1 stick of butter (margarine can be substitued but butter is BETTER!)
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk

I use a 2 quart glass round deep baking dish to bake it in.
Melt the stick of butter in the dish. I just pop it in the microwave for half a minute or so while I mix flour, sugar and milk to make a batter.
Pour batter in middle of melted butter. (do NOT stir)
Pour peaches in middle of the batter and butter (AGAIN - do NOT stir)
Bake for approximately one hour, or until the top is golden brown.
YUM!! Quick and easy! Great with vanilla icecream!

Wow, that's some great blog candy! If I have to color an image in, I use SU! markers. I try to stay away from coloring images because I don't have the technique down. I definitely need to take Marianne's class!

wendyp said...

I'm still Copic-less, so for now I'm using watercolors. I'm hoping that they'll be a certification course closer to home soon because I'm dying to learn how to use them!

Heres a really simple, but yummy dinner.

1-2 lbs ground beef
2 cans cream of mushroom soup

Brown up the ground beef, pour off any extra grease, mix in the mushroom soup, heat through.

Serve on top of mashed potatoes, noodles or even toast.

It looks disgusting, but its one of my Dh and kids favorite cold weather comfort foods.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! I would seriously faint if I won this. Thanks so much for the chance! I became addicted to Copics over the summer and am s-l-o-w-l-y building my collection. I'm going to have to go with N0 bc it creates beautiful shadows and also can be used to create a slightly darker version of light colors when shading, w/o having to have the next color in the progression.

I'd love to see the colors that are in these sets, if you can post them.

What fab blog candy! I am a junkie for colour and love to play with anything I can get my hands on. I have a handful of Copics, have a yearning for more colours but alas they have to stay firmly on the wish list at present. Many thanks for the inspiration and the opportunity to make my wish list smaller!!

I just got my first set of COpics and have only receintly started playing with them. I like the idea of "scribbling on an acrylic block, then picking up the colour". Love your blog.

I just got my first set of Copics, but the colours are so awesome I can't say which one I like best! Probably the ones I don't have yet, like BG000 or B000. ;-)

I'm sorry you can't be with everyone else at the Copic event, but I'm soo glad you're sharing with blog candy! I wish I had an easy recipe but i've been dieting lately, so nothing good right now :( that is unless you like to eat organic greens, raisins, walnuts, sunflower seeds and chicken...topped with olive oil and WHITE balsamic vinegar. The white vinegar is much less 'tart' and is nice and mellow...if you can find it!

I've only recently bought some Copics and am really loving them so far! Would love some more to add to my collection so thanks for the opportunity to win! Congrats with OCL too

Thank you for the blog candy!!! Congrats on Our Craft Lounge. Ever since I started reading your blog I got hooked on the copics! It was your posts on being copic certified that really reeled me in. While I don't really have a copic favorite color - (i love them all), if I have to choose one, it would be R46 Strong Red. When I use it - it just makes things pop!
