Weekend Blog Candy!!

Happy Friday!! I had SO much fun giving away blog candy last weekend, I'm going to do it again!! This time, I will randomly draw someone who leaves a comment on this post, and the winner will receive a brand new Defining Alphabet set from Stampin'Up! Leave a comment by clicking on the word comments right under this post. :)

I will draw on Sunday, December 14th at Noon (pacific time). I will mail to the winner on Monday!!

How about you tell me what is on your wish list for Santa this year? Or, how about you tell me what gift you are most excited about giving this year. You can leave any comment... just say hello if you want. :)

Thanks everyone! Have a great weekend!

Oh, what yummy candy! I don't have a very big wish list, but the thing I'm most hoping for is a photo tent so I can take better pictures of my cards and things for my blog.

I love giving gifts to my kids, they get so excited about every present! I am asking for a new watch! Thanks so much for this chance!

I feel like I am just repeating myself over and over but when anyone asks me what I would like for this Christmas, all I can think to say is a job for my newly unemployed husband. We are both 60 and jobs are hard to come by. So, that is my biggest wish. Thanks for the chance to win this great alpha set.

Homemade gifts are always the best, and always remembered the most. This year we are doing our homemade chocolate pizzas and homemade initial monogram notecards.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!

As with many people, we are scaling back on the gifts this year. But I really don't mind, and my kids don't seem to care, either. We have what's most important, good health and the love and support of family and friends! The gift I'm most excited about giving is an old DVD that is my friend Pam's all-time favorite. I tracked it down on Amazon for just a few bucks, and she has no idea she's getting it. We don't usually "gift" each other for Christmas, but she has been an amazing, supportive friend this year.

This was the same question on another blog and I answered, having recently been divorced after a 20 year marriage, a real man with pecs and NOT man boobs. And, then I added and a Big Shot, the rest of the nestabilities dies and an ott-lite. BUT, last night as I was making soup, I decided what I really need is a good can opener or an electric can opener. Something that opens the cans with ease and doesn't leave the little pieces of paper from the label that always seem to fall off into your pan when you are dumping the contents of the can. Does anyone make a good can opener? Does one exist? Merry Christmas to you and your family, Cami, and thanks for the opportunity to win!

Christmas is not a time for my hubby and I to receive gifts. LOL There is only so much money to go around and we throw it all at our kids. :) I am MOST excited to give them their Wii. We bought it for all 3 since it was on ALL of their lists. We also bought them some games, extra remotes and all the other things they would need to get started right away and be able to play together. Honestly, I can't wait to see them open ALL of their gifts. I just love to see those little smiling faces. :)

Hugs!

Love your blog. I visit everyday. I have two gifts that I'm excited about giving. First is a pink telephone for my 3 year old, she loves talking on the phone. It's just her size and really works. Second is a nintendo DS and a guitar hero game to go with it for a lucky winner at our local elementary school. We own a wrecker service and decided to do a contest on naming our wrecker. I can't wait to read their essays and seeing the look on the lucky winners face. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas.

Cheryl B. said...

There is nothing exciting on my Christmas list this year as usual--I always just ask for stuff for the house.

I gave my MIL and my DH's grandma early Christmas presents this year. I made them each sets of Christmas cards. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to give DH's grandma her gift in person so I didn't get to see her reaction. If I get time, I am going to make sets of all occasion cards to give to them for Christmas.

My wish is for my son's seizures to stop. About 14 months ago he suffered viral ensephalitis that has now left him with epilepsy that medication so far has not been able to control. This year has been a year of learning for all of the family. While I enjoy Christmas and the gift giving, etc., I have a new appreciation for life and the giving of time and helping others.

Stamping and cardmaking is my stress outlet and it something that I have been able to continue doing on a limited basis during this time.

I made a 6x6 digital scrapbook for all our family members for Christmas this year. It has pictures of all of them in it and is filled with memories we have shared during the past year. It was a year with 3 nephews graduating high school and going on to college and my sister in law and mother in law both having chemo almost at the same time. It was our 4th of July annual family reunion and the Tulip festival in April which was also my husbands birhtday weekend and it snowed in April in Seattle. So, it was quite a year of mixed memories and I tried to show this in my scrapbook. I hope they enjoy it.

This year we are scaling back. My ex and I both work at a car dealership, so, right now, we are so thankful to still have jobs! The kids know this Christmas won't be as big as years past, and they don't seem upset at all. I am so thankful that we are all healthy and happy and together!

I hope you have a fabulous Christmas! Thanks for sharing so much with all of us!

Hugs!

My husband and I each chose a gift for Toys for Tots last weekend, and are going to try to give a little something extra this weekend-- very sad to see an almost empty bin. I hope all the children get something they like and that they have enough for Santa to visit everyone.

Yay! I want a clean scrapbooking and stamping space for Christmas...that's not too much to ask is it? LOL

We are looking forward to giving our 16 year old daughter a llama for the Heifer Project. She gets 3 presents for Christmas and for the past six or seven years has chosen a llama to donate as one of her gifts.

On Tuesday night we are giving marshmallow guns to her youth group leaders.

What great blog candy! I get excited about still being "Santa" for my kids - the whole deal makes them giddy and warms my heart. As for me... well, I want stamps and paper and ink, oh my! :)

I would really like a Bind-It-All this year or a gc to my favorite scrapbooking store. So far I have not found that gift I am most excited about to give--but I have at least 2 weeks right?

Thanks for the blog candy chance, I would love those alpha stamps.

My daughter just finished her Master's degree in special education and I am surprizing her with a diamond necklace for all her hard work. I wanted to give her something that would give her many years of joy, just like she has given me.
Thanks for sharing.

Wow, I would love to win this set! Thank you for the chance! I am excited to give my 10 year old DD some school themed scrapbook items---I went nuts and bought quite the assortment! I plan to give her a disposable camera as well. She is really starting to enjoy papercrafting, and I really love this since it's something we can share!

I am excited to be giving our family our first family portrait with our new daughter, Nora. She will be six months old on the 16th. It is wonderful to see Christmas through new eyes.

Happy Holidays Cami!

I love your blog! We've had a very tough year, losing my father and some difficulties with one of our sons. So I am just hoping for a happy holiday season. My mother will be coming half way across the country to spend time with our family and 'get away' from memories. My gift to her will be to see her have a happy and memiorable holiday!

Hmmm....I'm always excited to see how my kids react--this year my little guy will really get into it---I could give him a box full of spoons and he'd be thrilled! (He'll be 2 in January)

I'm most excited to give my oldest a mircophone stand for his Playstation--he's been using a broom, toilet paper cardboard and duct tape....LOL!

I always say I want for nothing....but I am dying to see the new releases from OCL--when will that be? You're the bomb!

What a generous offer. There is only the 2 of us and we have decided that there is nothing we really need this year, so we will just exchange little stocking stuffers and be thankful for our health and each other.

I was just starting to generate my wishlist today. I would like a Scor-Pal or a die cutting machine, like a Cuttlebug and some Nesties.

I haven't even started my shopping yet, so I don't know what I'll be giving.

I would like an elliptical machine- not going to happen but I can wish! Happy Holidays!

I am just hoping that Santa has enough money to get the kids something this year! On my wishlist is a BigShot or a Cricut, but those can wait.

My wishlist is endless, but I'm mostly excited about my gift to my husband. I bought him a "valet drawer" thing from Costco so that he can come home and have his keys, change, wallet, receipts, etc...all in one area without cluttering my breakfast bar area.

I'd love some Nestabilities or a red, white, and blue bowling ball. Most of all, I just want to see/hear the happiness of my kids as they open their Christmas gifts. Cheryl L.

I'm not expecting much, nor wanting much this year. My friends and family have decided to donate the money we'd spend on things we don't necessarily need or want to local charities. A few handmade Christmas cards is good enough. I am, however, making an exception and making a calendar of my sweet 14-month old niece for the grandparents, parents, select aunts & uncles. Now, THOSE, we need!! Thanks of letting us play along.

Hi- Thanks for giving us a chance at some yummy blog candy! This year has been a trying one. My Dad passed away and we almost lost my husband. He had a 4 way by pass surgery and is doing better so that is my main Christmas present THIS year. I have been wanting some of the Copic markers but due to mediacl bills that want will have to go a back burner for now. Wishing everyone a JOYFUL Holiday Season! Thanks Cami for ALL you do for us!!!Hugs Kay Mespelt

I know, I know!.....I sooooo want a Big Shot! :) I have a Cuttlebug, so I've been trying to justify it, but I figured you don't really have to justify gifts from Santa, do you?
The Christmas gifts we're giving that I'm most excited about are the handmade things. I did monogrammed notecards and recipe books....my husband helped pick out the colors and what "favorite" recipes to include.
Thanks for the chance to win, Cami!

What a great giveaway!! I am most excited about giving this year. Nothing like little faces on Christmas morning. For myself, I am hoping for a Big Shot!!

I would love to get nestiblities and a big shot machine. Great blog candy!

2008 has been a defining year of transition for me. Turning 50 among other things has me shifting focus though I wouldn't say no if Santa dropped off a Big Shot (the Sizzix kind not the corporate tycoon) under the tree this year. Oops I mean wreath (everyone is downsizing right?).

As for giving...I'm most excited at sharing my love of stamping with my nieces and nephews this last summer so that's what Aunt Jean will be sending their way this Christmas (I knew my SU stash would come in handy). I already shared ornaments with our local foodbank to give out with Holiday food boxes. I had to grin though when I found one in my box last Monday. Money may be scarce but love and giving and shared joy are there for all. Thanks all for sharing your joy!

I don't have a favorite gift to give or receive yet this year. It's been a real tough year financially for my family. But we've got ALL the love and faith in God that we need. Have a WONDERFUL Holiday Season!

Well,What I want for christmas would be that we could sell our house since it is coming time for us to transfer for the last time. My hubby is in the military and we have only 4 years left till retirement, so this will be our very last move. Yeah!!! I also hope that this last tour in Iraq will be his last and they dont squeeze one more out of us before retirement.

I already received a great Christmas present. 3 of our sons announced on Thanksgiving that their wives are pregnant! 3 grandchildren at once ... and also our first grandchildren. What more could a girl ask for? Oh yeah, I did ask for a scor-pal ... I hope I get it! P. S. Your blog is awesome.

I would like to have the new "Funtime Software" for my cutter. Also, can't wait to see the grandkids at Christmas - that's the best thing at Christmas.

Hello, What am I excited about giving or getting....hard one for me, I think givng my Mom her presents, she is 81, and she loves opening all her gifts, is always so appreciative! I had fun reading the other answers, some made me laugh, some think, and some sad...I wish I could be Santa and give everyone of you what you asked for, now that would be fun! Have a great holiday everyone!

I love your creative ideas and can't wait to see your new projects. I can always use more "stuff" for Christmas. What I really what from Santa is a baby Camel. I know this is an usual request, but my baby mini donkey needs a companion. If you have ever looked into a camel's soft brown eyes, you will fall in love.

I am most excited to get my daughter and her husband home for Christmas. And I am most excited to be able to give my oldest daughter a computer for Christmas. My daddy passed away last year on the 15th of Dec. And my daughter stepped up to take care of my mother who has Alzhiemer's for the year. Mother is moving in with me this week. But it has been such a God send that LaMiya was able to stay with her Grammy. So that is why I am glad to be able to do something extra special for her this year.

Oh boy, where to start! I'm so excited to see my wee grandson's response to all the chaos that is Christmas and to watch him open his first gift. I know he will be more interested in the paper and boxes this year so it really doesn't matter what he gets but I love little boy toys! Buttons, wheels and noise!
