Weekend Blog Candy!!

Happy Friday!! I had SO much fun giving away blog candy last weekend, I'm going to do it again!! This time, I will randomly draw someone who leaves a comment on this post, and the winner will receive a brand new Defining Alphabet set from Stampin'Up! Leave a comment by clicking on the word comments right under this post. :)

I will draw on Sunday, December 14th at Noon (pacific time). I will mail to the winner on Monday!!

How about you tell me what is on your wish list for Santa this year? Or, how about you tell me what gift you are most excited about giving this year. You can leave any comment... just say hello if you want. :)

Thanks everyone! Have a great weekend!

Wow, super blog candy! The gift I am excited about giving is for our family (2 daughters and their families - 13 plus the two of us) will be joining us at a water park a few days just after Christmas. We have such a fun time, and this Grandma gets to hug-on and spend lots of quality time with her babies, ages almost 2 all the way up to almost 18). Talk about excitement amid total exhaustion!!! Have a Merry Christmas - God Bless you and your family, Shirley

Santa gave me a plane ticket to go see my kids and grandkids this year in Portland, it will be the first time in 8 years that all of us will spend it together, God or Santa could not have given me a better gift! Eloise

I really haven't even thought about what I would like this year. I am more into giving. I love to shop for others and love to see their faces when I know I got them something they really want. I hope you and your family have a blessed and very Merry Christmas.

I have had a really rough year so I am looking most forward to having my family and friends around my dinner table this Christmas. The happy faces and sound of laughter is exactly what I want for Christmas - that and an iPhone LOL!

As most people are, we are scaling back on the monetary part of Christmas this year and enjoying our family and health. We are very blessed to be together.

I think it is so much more fun to see excitement on the face of someone who gets a gift more than getting one, so I'll have to say the things that I picked up on our vacation this year that I KNOW my girls will love getting. It's been so hard to keep them under wraps until Christmas! Your blog candy would sure fill my stocking nicely! Would love to get that set! Thanks for all your great ideas and wonderful blog!

Unknown said...

Love all your creations on your blog. There are always 'toys' or should I say 'tools' that I want for Christmas but all in all I have been very blessed this year. This set would make great monogram Christmas sugar cookies.

Rosella said...

COOL! Thanks for sharing!
My Christmas list is not big at all. I really would like a Cuttlebug, but don't think I'll get it. My dh does not have understanding for the NEED of this tool. So I should probably take advantage of this weeks Micheals 50%off sale.
The gift I am looking forward to give is to my son who is absolutely in LOVE with anything CARS, so this was too easy. He's getting the CARS tooltable and the CARS racetrack.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!!

I'm wishing for hope, help and health for many of our rural neighbors in my neighborhood. So many are in the process of losing their homes at Christmastime due to foreclosure. I wish I could do something to help them all. They are good people, and we've already had a family move in with us to help them out. Praying for help for more!

Yum, more candy. Christmas is really tight this year, I am looking forward to giving my boys the most wanted things on their lists. It will be a good thing not to buy too much, b/c I don't have room for the stuff we have. I would love to be able to put this candy under the tree for myself. Take care, Laura

The gift I am most excited to give is the coat I bought my daughter. We live in S. CA so there is no need for winter wool coats but that is what she has heart set...impractical high school senior that she is. Her HS choir is going to New York City on tour in the spring and she is conviced she needs this coat and has been wishing for almost a year. I found a great cashmere blend coat at a faboulous price on black Friday and it wrapped waiting for her. She will be so surprised and I'm looking very forward to her opening this gift. Thanks for offering the great prize...I've been wanting this set!

My DH got me a Silhouette for Christmas ... hopefully you'll be seeing some crafts using it soon. I got it early as I'm making holday cards and he thought it'd be useful but I've not installed it yet!

I'm just looking forward to nice quiet family time on Christmas vacation this year!

Cambria, you certainly have the spirit of giving! lol So- I have a gift for you. The easiest, best fudge you will ever make! It's actually a Rachel Ray recipe that I adore. Grease a round pan with butter and set aside. Melt 12oz choc hips and 8 oz butterscotch chips over low. Stir often. When chips are melted add 1 can condensed milk.save the can. Add 1tsp vanilla, 1 C nuts, 1/2 C raisins. Mix well. Cover can from Cond. milk w/plastic wrap and set in center of buttered pan. Spoon fudge mixture around can, filling pan. Cut some candied cherries (red in half, green in fourths) arranging like holly berries and leaves around your fudge wreath. Cool. remove can and transfer to serving plate. Cut into thin slices for serving. Tastes like a chunky candy bar! Enjoy!

I guess the thing I'm most excited about giving this year is the same thing my mother, sister and I have done the past six years (at least) and that is to cook a meal for about 20-30 homeless men in a transition program that gets them back on their feet. We also take them goody bags and provide cards and stamps in case they would like to drop a line to a friend or family member. It's a great time! Merry Christmas!

It seem a bit selfish that I would just type in a comment to win something. So I would like to give these stamps to my son, who loves to stamp but I don't let him "play" with my expensive stamps. I am still new at stamping (only 4 months) and I don't have a lot of stamps for him to use so this would be nice. He is also learning how to spell in school. What a bonus for him to get his own stamps that he could spell with. Thank you for posting.

I would much rather give than receive. I have everything I want in a loving family and a healthy household! The gifts I am most exicted to give are my son's guitar and my daughter's cell phone. Neither one of them has any idea that they are receiving these as we've been telling them all year that "no, you are too young for that" or "no, you'll never use that, so it's a waste" just so they'll be totally caught off guard! Happy Holidays to all!
