Hey There Cupcake!

Oh My Gosh!! My cupcakes are here!! My cupcakes are here!! I can't even tell you how much I LOVE the new cupcake set from Stampendous!! It's called Hey There Cupcake, and it's an eP exclusive! Oh, the cupcake possibilities are endless!!!!! I have cupcakes all over my desk ready to be turned into cards.

This is my first card. I learned that cool ribbon accent from my friend and downline Leslie Miller. She is amazing and always knocks my socks off. Use your double slot punch and you get perfect placement for your ribbon. Cool huh? Thanks for sharing Leslie bomb. :)

You make the frame by using your square punches from Stampin'Up! Push the punch all the way in, then punch one square, then move it down and punch another. Always make sure your punch is all the way in so that you get perfect alignment. Do the same with the smaller punch with a different colored card stock, then mat it under the first. The paper piercing around the image is made with my Crafter's Tool Kit (Stampin'Up!). I'm not sure where the ribbon is from.... it was a gift from a friend.

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Hey There Cupcake (Stampendous), Polka Dot Background (Stampin'Up!)
Paper: Purely Pomegranate, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Ink: Palette Burnt Umber, Copic eSsentials
Other: Square Punches, Word Window Punch, Double Slot Punch, Crafter's Tool Kit, Ribbon, Vintage Brads, Sakura Glitter pen, Unibal White Gel Pen

It's a yicky rainy day today on the OR coast. Perfect weather for staying in and making cupcakes don't ya think? SNORT. Hope you all have a wonderful day, and thanks for stopping by!

Heart Day Valentine Box Tutorial

Finally! Whew.... I had a few requests for the box instructions that I posted here. Today, I found a spare minute to figure out what I did so that I can show you. First I want to direct you to Fat Cat Stamper's blog with Danielle's instructions.... I did get the idea from her after seeing someone who linked to her blog from SCS. Wow, Danielle has an AMAZING blog... make sure to check out all her work. And, thanks for sharing with us Danielle!!

The version in this tutorial is a little different than the first one I posted. The first one is the same dimensions as Danielle gives on her site. (8 1/4 x 8 1/4, then scored at 2 3/4). This one is a tad bigger and fits the 3x3 note cards perfectly. The only thing I did different are the flaps because I wanted to use the free ribbon in the Valentine Bundle Promotion. Danielle's original version works much better for that cello bag size... the box in today's post is a larger cello bag. So, now you have two options for the box. :)

Cut your paper 8.5 x 8.5 and score each end at 2.5

Align the corners in a slot in the scor-pal and score down the center to the first score line and stop.

Only score the end square do not score completely across

Now Align The other end and score only across the end square

Your finished scored card stock should look like this. (Click on any of the photos for a closer look).

Flip your card stock over, stamp and decorate, then fold on the score lines so that your corners flip outward.

Next, unfold, then fold the small corners inward

Then, refold the the same way as above with the corners flipped out.

Add your Jumbo Eyelet to each side and add the ribbon. I tied one on opposite ends on each side of the box.

When using the Crop-a-dile, I punch two holes moving it slightly for the second punch to give yourself a little more room to fit the eyelet in place.

Pull Ribbon through the eyelets and tie in a knot on one side.

There ya go... two versions. I think this bigger one would be adorable filled with our 3x3 note cards.

You could also scallop the edges for an ever cuter box!

Okay, I'm outta here. I've got some last minute birthday preparations for my twins! My boys are 11 today! No dishes for Mom tonight either! Whooo Hooo!! Well, maybe some plates from the cake. :)

Have a great day everyone! Thansk for stopping by!

Friendship Blooms

I'm so excited for Sale-a-bration! What is better than FREE stamp sets and rub ons? I was good this year and only pre-ordered two sets and the rub ons (as demonstrators we can pre-order one of each) but I can't wait to earn the rest.... I want them all!!

This set is called Friendship Blooms. The SAB rub ons coordinate with it... I NEED more rub ons! The background is the new Twill Background stamp, but it's stamped twice. Once with the lines going across, then again with the lines going down. It almost looks like gingham huh? The center of the main flower is a pretty in pink brad, with a glue dot and dazzling diamonds glitter.

Okay... so it's your last chance to take advantage of the free ribbon and get the Valentine's Bundle. Promotion ends January 31st. Don't miss out!!

And... if you've ever thought about joining Stampin'Up!, SAB is the perfect time to join our stampin family. You get to choose any stamp set from the catalog (up to a $47.95 value), in addition to all the sets you get in the starter kit! And now, you can sign up and get your demo number almost instantly online!! Contact your demonstrator for more information!

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Friendship Blooms, Twill Background, One of a Kind (flower stamp in the center)
Paper: Whisper White, Purely Pomegranate, Basic Gray.
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Basic Gray, Pretty In Pink
Other: Brads, Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals, Key Tag Punch, Designer Label Punch, Taffeta Ribbon, Boho Blossoms Punch, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.

Okay, my kids are home today.... can you believe it's snowing on the OR coast? We rarely get snow, but it did cover and stay for a few hours yesterday. Today, the roads seem okay, but I guess ice is a problem. My kids are having a blast and for the first time went outside and forgot about the dog!!!!! Thank goodness for snow. :)

I've had a few emails asking for a tutorial on the little box I posted earlier. Hang tight... I'll get to it soon. I'm not even sure what I did. I promise it's coming.

Thanks for stopping by... hope your weekend was great.

Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #32

Wow... it's Friday again! Another crazy week! Can you believe that January is almost over?

It's time again for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge!! I did not follow the sketch exactly.. but I think it's close enough to pass, you think?

Have you seen the spring stamps from Stampendous? Oh my.... talk about adorable!! I don't have these, but a sweet friend stamped me some images... now I think I *NEED* them. I'm thinking I could ink up just that flower and the happy for other cards.... yah, that's it.

The pretty pearls on the egg are Pastel Raspberry Liquid Pearls. I got some for my birthday along with some new Copics too. LOVE those liquid pearls. The ribbon is the new striped ribbon from Stampin'Up! along with the designer paper.

Here's Beate's sketch! Hope you will play along this weekend. If you upload to SCS, remember to put the keyword WSC32 into the keyword section so we can all see your creation!

The Recipe:

Stamps : Blossom Egg, Spring Flower (Stampendous)
Paper: Pretty In Pink, Whisper White, Spring Fling Designer Series Paper (Stampin'Up!)

Again, on a personal note, I can't thank you all enough for your support and emails this week. I'm very behind on my email, so please forgive me if I haven't responded to you yet. Oregon has a one bite law. Which means for me, since the owners of the dog rent, that the owner of the property has to be aware that the dog is vicious in order for me to turn in any expenses to landlord's home owner's insurance. I have notified the owner of the house, along with all my neighbors, about the attack and that the dog is back in our neighborhood. One time that dog is seen off a leash and I'm sure they will be charged again. I also heard other stories of more bite attempts by this dog. I cannot believe she screamed at me that their dog is not violent.

On a positive note, I got a phone call yesterday from a very brave woman in my area who actually fought to get all dog owners to be responsible for medical expenses in OR, despite the one bite law. She had her lips bitten off by a dog when she leaned in to give a friend a hug and didn't know there was a dog in the vehicle. She continues to have many surgeries ahead of her. Because of her dedication, I am, by OR law, entitled to my medical expenses and can take them to small claims court. At this point, my main concern is to get the dog out of our neighborhood so that my kids can feel safe again. She also gave me some other steps I can take to do that. Sara Weidenhaft is my hero.

Baylor had his stitches removed yesterday. He he is healing up very nicely. I am seeing my guy return too. :) I've learned a lot through this ordeal, and I tell you, I am feeling incredibly blessed that it wasn't worse and that his brother was there to help get the dog off. I also learned that if I had reported the other bite attempts to animal control, that the dog would not have been returned to them. I feel very guilty about that. I was trying to keep peace and be a good neighbor and made the assumption that they would be responsible after seeing their dog attempt to bite. From now on, I will insist that people keep their dogs on leashes and you can bet if EVER I see a dog even so much as growl at my kids, I am reporting it. I realize most dog owners are very responsible and I know we love our dog like part of our family, but attacking children (or anyone) cannot be tolerated.... even if it's chasing them on their bikes or nipping at pant cuffs.

Boy am I ready for the weekend! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and that you have some stampin time! After all, that makes a good weekend right? Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Heart Day Workshop

I had a workshop on Saturday.... it was the highlight of my week. I have the best group of stampers. I've been having so much fun with Beate's Weekend Sketches, that I decided to challenge my group with one. Remember my Friendship Blooms
card? Well, that was the sketch. I made these items for prizes. The card is one of the projects we did along with a Nichole Criss Cross Box.

The box is one that I saw here on SCS and then tweaked a bit. I stamped the cello bag with the heart flower from the Happy Heart Day set with White Stazon.

This jar is an empty ice mocha drink bottle. It was the Godiva brand. You can't see it too well in the photo, but I used the big friend chocolate rub on directly on the bottle from the SAB Love and Happiness set that you can get next month for free. I also added some flower rub ons to the ribbon. I used my favorite Berry Bliss Designer paper and the new beads to decorate the lid.

I used Sticky Strip on the edge, then smooshed the lid into the beads... then added the rest by hand to the uncovered spots. The top of the lid is cut out with the 1 1/4 Circle Punch.

This was the card we made. We embossed the flower with copper embossing powder, then colored with aquapainter and classic ink. The pomegranate card stock is stamped with the new background stamp Stitched with Craft Pretty In Pink. Berry Bliss Designer paper along the bottom. The card is attached to the base of Close to Cocoa cut 4 1/4 x 41/4.

The other project (the criss cross box) I don't have photographed yet, but will post soon.

Here is the recipe for the card:

Stamps: One of a Kind, Stitched Background
Paper: Purely Pomegranate, Close to Cocoa, Shimmery White, Berry Bliss Designer Paper.
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink Classic and Craft, Basic Brown.
Other: Copper Embossing Powder, Aquapainter, Build a Brad, Crafter's Tool Kit, Pink Taffeta Ribbon, 1/2 Circle Punch.

Tutorial for the box can be found here.

On a personal note. Just as I thought we were passed all the dog trauma, my neighbor came up and screamed at me yesterday because I asked them to promise me to keep their dog completely contained at all times. They have decided to get her back. I also asked her to reimburse me for my out of pocket expenses or if there was an insurance company I could turn them into. It didn't matter what I said to calm her down, she was intent on screaming and cussing at me. I'm so sad. I'm worried about my son and she continues to add more distress to our family. I don't understand how they could be more concerned about their dog than my family and my children.

Last night we went to Walmart and Baylor held my hand in the parking lot. He said the cars and the dark made him have memories of the dog getting him. I just squeezed his hand tight and told him it will be okay. He is safe. He says he's fine, but he isn't acting like the same ole Baylor..... I thought maybe he was coming down with a bug. I know that it will take time, but I'm just amazed that this woman would add to it and have such little concern for my son.

Thanks for stopping by everyone! I have some posts for the rest of the week, but they'll be short. I'm working on swaps and spending as much time as I can with my kids. Again, thanks for your support and thoughts and prayers.

Riley Moose

Moose... Meese? Hanna has Meese!! I know it's not really Meese... but I'm calling the new set Hanna's Meese. LOL. They are all just TOO cute. I think this one is my favorite..... maybe because that chair is so cute and comfy looking... or maybe it's that hot steaming cup o joe... or maybe it's the cupcake.... yah, it's the chocolate cupcake! *wink*

Okay... sorry for the quick post, but I've got a ton to catch up after our trauma week. Baylor is feeling much better and not even limping anymore. I can't thank you enough for the sweet comments and support.

The Recipe:

Stamps: Hanna Stamps Riley Meese (to be released soon)
Paper: Basic Gray, Certainly Celery, Chatterbox Cottage Lilacs, Shimmery White.
Ink: Palette Noir Black, Copic eSsentials, Pure Color Pencils.
Other: Tiny flower punch (Target) , Stampendous Dot Stickers (these rock), Sakura Glitter Pen, Uniball White Gel Pen, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.

Oh... I've had a few emails about the paper piercing (Hanna 40 fab card). It's easy. Stamp your image on to your card stock, then stamp it again onto your designer paper. Cut out the part on the designer paper that you want to use (the dress on Hanna), then glue it down on your main image.. color the rest in, and you're set. :) I have found the Quickie glue pen to be a life saver when it comes to paper piercing. LOVE that pen!!

Hope you had a nice weekend, thanks for stopping by!

Fabulous 40 Hanna

Just a quick post today, I will add the details later. I made this special card for a friend who is, indeed, fabulous and about to turn the big 40.

The happy inside the O and the celebrate on the ribbon are the new rub-ons you can get for free during SAB. I am loving rub-ons.... I told ya that right? More details to come. This is the new set from Hanna Stamps called Sweet Celebrations. Awesome set for Valentines or any time!!

I was back at the ER with my Baylor last night. I took him to his follow up Dr. appt. on Tuesday and the one wound from the bite that didn't get stitches was red. The Dr. drew around the red with a sharpie and said if it passed the line to come back in immediately. We were instructed to change the dressing once a day. Last night, my heart sunk when I took off the dressing and the red creped past the line about 1/2 inch.

I'll spare the details, but it was not a pleasant visit. After they were done poking and picking at his poor leg, they hooked up an IV and gave him some antibiotics. He started getting a rash and turning red shortly after the nurse left. I went to get him and when he took off running to the room, I started to worry a bit. He stopped the drip, then put something else in (Benedryl) and then Baylor's eyes got big and he started coughing and said his throat was doing funky things. It was over almost as fast as it started thanks to the Benedryl. I think I filled up my big girl panties. So, they had to mix up something else in the pharmacy, and that drip was fine. He slept through most of it. We got home late and he is exhausted but feeling better today. We have to keep it elevated and with moist heat so that it doesn't scab over. We see the Dr. again today at 4:30, but the red hasn't spread and the stitches even look better. I think the worst is over!!! He is taking double the antibiotics now, so I need to run and get a prescription.

A little enabling before I go:

Okay... so this morning I was skimming through my email and I got the eP newsletter.... did you see that cupcake set from Stampendous? OMG.... I had to place a quick order. You can also get the above Sweet Celebrations or other Hanna Stamps from eP plus free flowers to boot... see below!!

Check it out... eP is turning one!!

Birthday Blossoms for everyone!

Friendship Blooms

Oh, how I LOVE Sale-a-Bration time! I finally got my sets yesterday, and of course the RUB-ONS!! How exciting that one of the SAB choices this year is my new favorite addiction. I was also thrilled to see that the stamp sets were die cut and ready to peel and stick baby.

I LOVE this flower set called Friendship blooms. LOVE IT!! How cool that you can get it totally FREE in February!! The stem, the center, and the flowers on the side are all rub-ons... another totally FREE item during SAB. You get four full sheets of rub ons.. and, they are black, white, BROWN and GREEN! How cool is that? COOL BEANS BABY!!

The flower is colored in with my Pure Color Pencils and my Stampin'Write Markers. The main flower is stamped with Basic Brown and the sentiment (included in the set) is stamped in Chocolate Chip and punched out with the Key Tag Punch. I added some dazzling diamonds glitter and SHAZAM baby... we are done!

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Friendship Blooms
Paper: Berry Bliss, Whisper White, Shimmery White, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Basic Brown, Chocolate Chip.
Other: Stampin Write Markers, Pure Color Pencils, Love and Happiness Rub-Ons, Key Tag Punch, Pretty in Pink Eyelets, Cropadile, White Taffeta Ribbon, Pink Gingham Ribbon, Two-way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Dimensionals, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-pal.

Sorry about not posting for a couple days. We had a traumatic weekend. My twins were attacked by a dog this weekend. They were walking down the street and a dog came out between two cars and took Baylor to the ground instantly by biting his leg just under the knee. They didn't know what was happening.... they didn't even see the dog until he had already got him. His brother Jayce is terrified of dogs, but he stayed and helped fight the dog off. My hero. The police said if it wasn't for Jayce, it could have been much worse. Baylor had to have seven stitches in the biggest wound. It was horrible. He is fine, just very sore. We were all very shaken up and Averie had a hard time sleeping for a couple nights. Animal control took the dog and hopefully she won't be back. Unfortunately, it was a neighbor's dog and a known biter that had gotten loose. Later this afternoon, he has a follow up with our Doctor. I'm just hoping for no infection. I'm proud of both of them for how they handled the situation...... and me for not passing out. :)

Have a super week everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

Monkey Admirer

Oh, man.... I adore these cute little monkeys!!! Remember a while back when eP had that Stampendous Coterie Special? All those adorable stamps inside the can? Well... I've been neglecting my poor little monkeys and bugs. My friend Lana sent me the most ADORABLE card with the monkey and the flowers... and my friend Mounds made THE cutest card for her blog. They pushed me over the edge and now all I want to do is stamp monkeys! Monkeys, monkeys, monkeys... they are SO cute! I used two stamps on this card, one with the monkey and the flowers/vine(Changito Bouquet)
, and the other with his tongue sticking out (Changito Loco) .

This card is another gate fold... the instructions are on the back of my Scor-pal packaging, but I was finally pushed over the edge by my friend Leslie to make one.... she made a totally dreamy card. Now, I'm addicted to this fold with designer paper. This paper is from Chatterbox called PC Scarlet Summer Dots. It's SO nice and thick you don't need any other card stock. I turned this one on it's side, and like Leslie's card, added the little hodgepodge piece to keep it closed.

On the inside, I added that adorable monkey again and the sentiment. I inked up the flowers from the Changito Bouquet stamp and added them in the corners.

All the coloring was done with my Pure Color Pencils from Stampin' Up! I outlined the images with a Copic Marker that was in the Copic eSsentials bag from eP (BG10).

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Changito Bouquet, Changito Loco, Crazy About You, Secret Admirer (Stampendous)
Paper:
Chatterbox called PC Scarlet Summer Dots, Bashful Blue, Shimmery White, Barely Banana, Blue Bayou.
Ink: Burnt Umber Palette, Pure Color Pencils (Stampin'Up!), Copic eSsentials.
Other: Hodgepodge Hardware Kit (Stampin'Up!), Grosgrain Ribbon, Colored Brads, 1/2 inch Circle Punch, Designer Label Punch, 3/4 inch Circle Punch, Sticky Strip, Stampendous Matte White Scalloped Postcards, Stampendous Class A Peel Stickers (center of the flowers... LOVE those shiny stickers!!), Crafter's Tool Kit, Janome Sew Mini, Score-Pal, Sakura Glaze Pen.

Hope you are having a great weekend! The sun has finally popped out on the OR coast... I hope it stays out for awhile today. My Stampin'Up! ordered arrived!! I can't wait to monkey around with my new stuff!! *giggle*

Thanks for stopping by!!

Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #30

Whoo Hoo, it's Beate's Weekend Sketch time! I am having so much fun with these sketches! I changed this card about three times, but I think I'm leaving it alone now. :)

So Much

We got this set, So Much, at Stampin'Up! Regionals in Portland. I haven't used it much, so I decided to give it some ink. Boy, am I behind in thank you cards. I started out stamping and cutting out the flower that comes in the set, then got lazy and reached for my punch. I did stamp the flower on the inside of the card. :)

I'll try and get a better photo later this afternoon. It's rainy and gloomy on the OR ocast today.

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: So Much (Stampin'Up!)
Paper: Whisper White, Taken with Teal, Purely Pomegranate, Bali Breeze Designer Paper.
Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Taken with Teal.
Other: 5-Petal Flower Punch, Three for You Punch Box, Earth Element Brads, Crafter's Tool Kit, Grosgrain Ribbon, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.

Off to the grocery store today.... yick. Have I told you how much I dislike going to the grocery store? My first new order from the catalog arrives today!! I only wish my UPS man hit my house before dinner time. Hope you all have a super day!!

Anna-Mae's Valentine

Wow.... I didn't think Gina's daughter could be any MORE talented!! This set was designed by Gina's daugher Alicia K. How cool is that? My kids just LOVE this set.... even my almost 15yr. old son thought it was cool... and he NEVER thinks my stampin stuff is "cool".

The background is really the paper. Gina sent me these sheets that are designer paper all cut and ready for cards! This piece had the frame around it and ready to go. The little heart tattoo on her arm is a little heart bobble sticker along with the ones around the frame and the bigger one at the bottom. I stamped the big heart with Stazon with another stamp from the set.

I had a really hard time getting a good photo of the tin, but it does look cool IRL. The background inside the tin is another one of those cool sheets... I just trimmed it a little and glued it in. I stamped Anne-Mae with White Stazon and colored her in from behind with Sharpie markers. Again, you see those cool bubble like hearts that couldn't be easier to peel and stick on. The tin is also from Gina K. Designs... I love that it has a bigger window on the top. Fun stuff from Gina K. I've had so much fun being a guest designer for her. I think they are announcing the new team of guest designers soon!!

Here is the recipe for the card:

Stamps: anna-mae's valentine
Paper: Regal Rose, Close to Cocoa, Real Red,
Designer Sheets
Ink: Burnt Umber Palette, Stampin Write Markers, Copic eSsentials, Black Stazon.
Other:
Heart Bubbles, Sakura Glitter Pen.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday!! I had a super day!! Hope the rest of your week is AWESBOMB! :)

Baroque Motifs Gate Card

I've been wanting to try something with the gate fold ever since my Scor-pal arrived. Today, my dear friend Leslie pushed me over the edge. Click here to see her beautiful creation. Click here for directions to the gate fold.

I modified it a little by trimming off the flaps a bit and then scoring again and folding in the opposite direction.... then sewing. :) I had a question about what I do with the ends after sewing. For me, it depends on if you see the back side when you open the card. If I'm sewing on just a front piece (that will be glued to a card base), I just tape them with a small piece of scotch tape, or run my mono across the ends before I stick it down. If you are going to see the stitching when you open the card, I pull the
little loop in the very last stitch from the back and then tie it in a small knot. Make sure you give yourself enough extra thread when you begin and at the end when sewing.

The front piece is only attached on the left side. There is a small notch above the card stock over the
Build a Brad that holds it closed. I made both notches (there is another at the top where the ribbon is tied) with the half inch circle punch.

Like Leslie... this card is made with Stampin'Up!'s double sided designer paper. With the insert in the middle, it's very sturdy. The scalloped inside is a white scallop postcard from Stampendous. I don't know if they still make them. I found a whole package in a drawer upstairs that I've had for years. They are perfect for the inside of cards.... I'd love to have more.

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Brighter Tomorrow
Paper: Ginger Blossom Designer Paper, Very Vanilla, Groovy Guava Textured and plain card stock, River Rock, Ruby Red, Stampendous Matte White Scallop Postcards.
Ink: Mellow Moss, Groovy Guava, Ruby Red, Handsome Hunter, Versamark
Other: Round Scallop Punch, 1/2 Circle Punch, Round Rhinestone Brads, Build a Brad, Crop-a-dile, Groovy Guava Stitched Ribbon, Crafter's Tool Kit, Janome Sew Mini, Scor-Pal.

Have a super day everyone!! My family is taking me to dinner tonight for my birthday! Yeah.... no dishes!!! As always, thanks for stopping by!!

The little mouse is up on his tip toes to give the elephant a big 'ole hug! I just cut the mouse out with my paper snips. The paper is the new Bali Breeze designer paper from Stampin'Up!. And, believe it or not, it's faux stitching with my Crafter's Tool Kit. :)

Paper: Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla, Bali Breeze DS Paper.
Ink: Basic Black, Stampin'Write Markers, Copic eSsentials.
Other: Crafter's Tool Kit, Pink Gingham ribbon, Dimensionals, Corner Rounder Punch, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Two-Way Glue Pen, Scor-Pal.

I'm off to renew my driver's license tomorrow am... wish me luck. I always take horrible photos. Oh... I dread it. Big girl panties.... I know. :)

Ooh La La.... Good Girl Doggie!!

Remember those Paper Frills I was talking about that I found in my mess? These are some of the flower srtips.... I was going for a foo foo collar look. If I had a girl dog, she'd definitely wear a collar like this!

Now... don't laugh. Well, you can laugh if you want... I did. Santa brought me a Be Dazzler! On the front of the box are all these examples of clothes and hats that have been "be dazzled". I guess Santa KNEW I'd be using it on card stock! Everything on the front of the box looks so SHAZAM, and well, just way too much for frumpy ole me, but I tell ya, it's kinda cool. It came with these silver studs and all kinds of little jewels that look almost exactly like Stampin'Up's Rhinestone brads! So, you've been warned.... watch for be jeweled projects from Cams.

The paper is from Heidi Grace and Chatterbox. The Heidi Grace paper is all flocked..... I just LOVE her paper. Stamp are from Lizzie Anne Designs from the set called Ooh La La. I adore the little poodle. I also used the alphabet set Samantha.... love that it comes with that little flower! If you can't read it from the photo, it says treats. Now I wish I had a cute, pink poodle to say "good girl.... come get a treat" and shake my cute little treat can! Well, I'm sure my boy dog Abby won't mind.

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Ooh La La, Samantha Alpha (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Paper: Heidi Grace, Chatterbox
Ink: Noir Black Palette, Stampin Write Markers
Other: Fun Flock, Round Scallop Punch (Stampin'Up!), Paper Frills, Be Dazzler, Round Metal Tags (Stampin'Up!), Silver Eyelets (SU!), Pink Gingham (SU!), Sticky Strip.

Hope you all had a fun last night. We just hung out with the kids and watched the ball drop on the tube. Averie made it until 9:30. The boys were all having fun playing Xbox Live until 1:00 am with their Dad. I got to stamp a while... what could be better? Happy New Year everyone!!
